Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted arm-in-arm with Jamie Lee Curtis in New York's West Village yesterday. No, the two haven't hopped on the older woman/younger man trend. Curtis is Gyllenhaal's Godmother. And what a cool Godmother to have, especially when Halloween is approaching.
It was recently reported that Jake has signed on to star in the espionage thriller Rendition with Reese Witherspoon in which he'll play “a CIA analyst based in Cairo who witnesses the interrogation of a foreign national by Egyptian secret police.” Rendition is to be directed by Gavin Hood, who won the Best Foreign Film Oscar earlier this year for Tsotsi.
Jake was also spotted recently supping at Meatpacking District bistro Pastis with Jarhead director Sam Mendes, after the jump…
