The DNCC isn’t the only big event going on this week. The U.S. Open — tennis’ final Grand Slam tournament of the year (aka Roger Federer’s last stand) — also started yesterday, out in Queens. So what better time to take a peek at the ATP’s 2009 calendar, on sale now:
Each region of the world is represented with players from 12 countries appearing in the calendar, from the camera-savvy Tommy Robredo (remember this?), Dmitry Tursunov and Fernando Verdasco (fresh from his naked Cosmo centerfold) (NSFWish) to Marcos Baghdatis, Tomas Berdych, Bob and Mike Bryan, Fernando Gonzalez, Tommy Haas, Ivan Ljubicic, Paul-Henri Mathieu, Juan Monaco, Paradorn Srichaphan and Mikhail Youzhny. The ATP site also has a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot, which you can watch over here.
