Responding to Governor Sarah Palin's statements that Obama is “palling around with terrorists,” MSNBC's Keith Olbermann struck back with the facts about her own secessionist past last night.
Yesterday, at a Palin rally, a supporter yelled out “kill him” when Palin was talking about Obama's association with a man named Bill Ayers, yet Palin let the remark go in the same way John McCain (at a rally yesterday as well) failed to respond when one of his supporters yelled “terrorist,” after the candidate made a remark questioning Obama's past.
The McCain-Palin campaign has reached the bottom of their barrel, as Salon points out in this piece published today: “McCain is resurrecting the GOP's oldest tactic: Smearing Obama as a scary black terrorist sympathizer. But he may meet the same fate as Barry Goldwater.”
On another note, the Dow dropped 370 points yesterday.
