Have you seen the new P.U.M.A. (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility)? It's GM and Segway's joint venture toward a utopian future of safety and efficiency. Engadget reports: "The car will not only communicate with other cars and with GPS, butwill sense and stop for pedestrians. They plan to show a connectedversion that will be available for test drives by Real Actual Humansthis coming fall, and then next year will come the scariest of allunveilings: GM styling."
I think they're pretty crazy if they think loads of people are going to swap their cars for a Rascal scooter with a windshield that makes you look as cool as Steve Wozniak. Until, of course, you get crushed by an Escalade.
