Politico makes note of a slight revision to the LGBT Pride Month Proclamation issued on June 1st which most of us never saw but was detected after the proclamation was published in the Federal Register:
"In the version of Obama's proclamation published in the Federal Register on June 4, he said: 'There are many well-respected LGBT leaders in both the arts and business communities, and in all industries.' However, in the version distributed to the press on June 1 and posted on
the White House website, the president said: 'There are many
well-respected LGBT leaders in all professional fields, including the
arts and business communities.' The reference to gays being
well-represented in 'all industries' was absent. Wednesday's Federal Register will carry a corrected text opting for the less industrious version."
