While speaking to those gathered at an Apostolic Church, Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe reiterated that he will not include rights for gays in a new draft of the country's constitution. He also took the time to once again compare gays to pigs and dogs.
“At some point, I realised that I was reprimanding blameless dogs and pigs, which are aware that marriage is for procreation. We say no to gays! We will not listen to those advocating the inclusion of their rights in the constitution."
Also: "We say no to gay rights, We will not listen to those advocating for their rights in the new constitution."
But the one thing Mugabe is fine with? Having multiple wives. Said he:
“Our Constitution allows polygamy. We will not force people into monogamous marriages. It's there even in the bible – Solomon was not only given wealth but many wives.”
