Here's Murkowski's interview with Alaskan media:
Rachel Maddow reports that Republican Sens. Richard Lugar and Susan Collins signal they will vote for 'DADT' repeal, and Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski signaled she too, would be a 'yes' vote, in an interview yesterday in Alaska.
Collins and Lugar pledged their votes as long as it is a fair and open process in the Senate, which means Harry Reid would offer debate and an amendment process. Murkowski says she wants to make sure the troops are supported, and that it does not hurt morale or recruitment.
Igor Volsky at the Wonk Room notes that while Murkowski expressed her support with the above provisions in a local Alaska news interview, her support in a later interview with CNN seemed indeterminate.
Also, the Washington Blade reported late yesterday that Senator John Ensign has suggested his vote will be in the "yes" column.
Maddow talked with NBC Senate producer Ken Strickland and The Last Word's Lawrence O'Donnell who both seemed to suggest that the Senate is on the verge of the 60 vote threshold, but over it.
