Rep. Ron Sandack of Downers Grove is one of two GOP Illinois Representatives (the other is Ed Sullivan Jr. of Mundelein) who have thus far publicly committed to supporting the marriage equality bill pending there. It's expected to see a vote before month's end.
Hundreds of protesters gathered outside his office over the weekend and Sandack addressed them, repeating his commitment to vote for equaltiy.
