There seemed to be a "running theme" underscoring Tom Daley's Christmas: support from his family and friends following his very recent and public coming out. The diver, 19, who came out via a message on YouTube earlier this month and has been widely speculated to be in a relationship with Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, 39, shared photos of his rainbow-colored Christmas on Instagram. A friend gave him a "gay icon" apron while his Aunty Marie wrapped her present to her nephew in rainbow-colored ribbon. The Olympian also donned a pair of rainbow toe socks–the perfect (and only) accessory to his gay icon apron ensemble.
