Last week, we reported on an upcoming religious “documentary” titled Light Wins: How to Overcome the Criminalization of Christianity detailing the supposed persecution of Christians at the hands of the LGBT fight for equality.
In that first preview video released, we saw Mike Huckabee and Scott Lively spouting anti-gay bile. Now, Right Wing Watch has pointed to a second preview featuring a number of current GOP congressmen with piss poor track records on equality issues.
Featured in the new preview:
- Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) – Compared gay rights advocates to Nazis and has expressed his concern that same-sex massages in the military will leave gay military service members “vulnerable to terrorism”.
- Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) – Claimed the Supreme Court's DOMA ruling was an attack on Jesus Christ and harmful to children. In 2013, he also reintroduced the Federal Marriage Amendment which would constitutionally ban same-sex marriage nationwide.
- Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) – In 2011 proposed impeaching Obama over the president's support for the repeal of DOMA.
- Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) – Called a federal judge's ruling overturning Kentucky's ban on gay marriage “illegitimate”. He also landed in hot water in 2013 after linking gay marriage to polygamy and “non-human” marriage.
