Asked by CNN's jim Acosta, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders repeatedly refused to say that the press is not “the enemy of the people” as Donald Trump has describe it, during today's press briefing.

Acosta was recently heckled by a Trump mob at the president's Tampa rally, a heckling apparently approved by the president.
Acosta later tweeted: “I walked out of the end of that briefing because I am totally saddened by what just happened. Sarah Sanders was repeatedly given a chance to say the press is not the enemy and she wouldn't do it. Shameful.”
