Donald Trump announced on Twitter Wednesday morning that White House Counsel Don McGahn would be leaving in the fall. McGahn made headlines earlier this month after it emerged that he had spent more than 30 hours speaking with Robert Mueller’s team. That news prompted a Trump meltdown on Twitter.
Tweeted Trump on Wednesday: “White House Counsel Don McGahn will be leaving his position in the fall, shortly after the confirmation (hopefully) of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court. I have worked with Don for a long time and truly appreciate his service!”
