If you're in New York in March you may want to catch the revival of Joe Orton's first full-length play, Entertaining Mr. Sloan, which features Alec Baldwin and Jan Maxwell as siblings in a power struggle over a male hustler, played by The OC‘s Chris Carmack. Sloan was Orton's first big success back in 1965, and according to the NYT “it single-handedly dragged the British sex farce from the realm of seaside-postcard naughtiness into a land-mined field of subversion.” Actually, the thought of watching Baldwin chase a half-naked Carmack around the stage sells it for us.
