News: Cameron Diaz, Falcon Briefs, Log Cabin Republicans
Is former Rick Santorum communications director Robert Traynham about to be named new president of the Log Cabin Republicans?

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake love the gays. Diaz: "No, of course not! I’m not at all intimidated [by Justin's gay fans]. I don’t even care about the girls who flash all their bits and pieces at him. None of that bothers me. I love it! I’m like, 'How awesome is your life? How cool is it to be you?' And Justin loves all of his fans. People adore him across the board, and he’s not uncomfortable with any part of it. We love the gays. A gay fan isn’t afraid to gush, which a girl doesn’t mind!"

Al Gore slams Bush and Iraq war: "This is an utter disaster. This worst strategic mistake in the history of the United States." Urges Bush "to try to separate out the personal issues of being blamed in history for this mistake and instead recognize it’s not about him. It’s about our country and we all have to find a way to get our troops home and to prevent a regional conflagration there."

NYC officials ban trans fats in restaurants: "City health officials created the unprecedented new requirements Tuesday. Restaurants will get a grace period to make both changes, but by mid-2008, Dunkin' Donuts will have to find a substitute for the 3.5 grams of trans fat in its Boston Kremes and tell customers up front that the snacks contain 240 calories."
New Jersey legislators propose two "civil union" bills, reject "spousal union" as marriage term. Bills are denounced by gay rights leaders as "extremely weak". Senate president Richard J. Codey: “Historically in our fight for civil rights, regardless of what discrimination they face, we can never always do everything we’d like to do in one step. If you look at the history of discrimination against women, minorities, and so forth, it’s always been a struggle. But we’ve made great progress, and we’re going to continue to do that.”

I lost all respect, if you could call it that, for Falcon when I discovered that they routinely hire actors who are straight (not such a big deal) and VERY vocally homophobic (HUGE big deal).
The kid (porn name Marcus Allen) that is being accused of murdering the man in Colorado is a great example of this. I saw report after report that quoted people who worked with him at Falcon talking about how homophobic and anti-gay the man was throughout his porn career. That REALLY disgusts me. There are plenty of hot, out, proud, gay men to pick from without having to resort to paying homophobes to bilk money out of gay men. That is really insulting to me and I can’t imagine how it wouldn’t be insulting to other gay men.

Zeke: half the gay porn made is sold to women.

Anon, with all due respect, I don't believe that for a minute. But even if it were true, I don't understand the connection.
Do women who are into gay porn prefer films with homophic straight actors?
