Sportrait: Tom Brady

This one got lost in the holiday shuffle, but it's a shot from December 24th. After the Patriots defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, Brady got tight with his tight end David Thomas.

  7. Tom Brady is one handsome man, but David Thomas has one of the sexiest bodies in the NFL. If you get the chance to catch a replay when he played for Texas, you will know what I'm talking about. (David Thomas #16 UT)

  8. did anyone else catch paul mcguire's comments to bob griese during the rose bowl? he called him a high school hall of famer, a college hall of famer, his personal hall of famer... and then he said ... "like i did you last friday night" ... it was strange and no one's picked up on it yet.

  12. No one here said anything was wrong -- except you Alan. You've read your own feelings into the situation.

    I'm for more of it.

I've often seen and disagred with your posts AB, now I think I know why. You say "No wonder straight guys don't even want to know about you... Jesus you queens are sad..." like you are one of them or why else would you say "you queens" as if you are not one of us, or are all gays who disagree with you queens?

  16. That is one damn hot photo. it woul dmake a great first scene in a porn video!

  17. I agree with Alan. If every time straight men show some platonic affection toward each other risks having a few fags with blogs hypersexualize their supposedly non-gesture as some homoerotic fantasy in public, it doesn't exactly help to alleviate fear of being associated as "gay." People can just read into whatever they wish and fantasize all they want, but I think to publicize a non-event into some collection of who's-who-could-be-gay rumour album only makes things worse.

  18. How about: awww, it's very sweet! Actually, str8 guys do show affection to each other as far as I can tell. Honestly, who could resist??

Joke version: see what Wentie is missing!

  19. i agree with alan and andrew well said, not all gays are sluts

  20. Just as you have some fundamentalists who say the gay lifestyle is wrong. You also have some extreme gays (queens) who accuse everybody of being gay or doing "gay things" (like walking together or hugging ..perez Hilton are you listening??)Straight Men in other countries do hug and even kiss!! We'll just say from now on the straight guys are showing some "Manlove" and move on....
So Don't get your "gay Panties" in a bunch moron...

  21. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks" was a line from Hamlet. Seems relevant to these overreacting twits who think this post is about trying to call either of these men gay. The blog says nothing of the sort, so cool down and do some reading first.

Having said that, while men in Europe kiss and think nothing sexual of it, in this photo you've got two American professional jocks in one of the most homophobic sports we worship. When two men are very much inside each other's personal space like you see in the photo and looking at each other very adoringly, the image is undeniably homoerotic regardless of whether both men are straight.

Straight models are shown on the covers of gay magazines all the time because they're sexy, not gay. This picture is sexy and decidedly erotic. Who cares if they're straight? Sounds to me like some of you tight end defenders are a little tight-assed yourselves.

  24. Get a life...they are hot and who cares, straight, gay, whatever, heros of public displays of love, go team go!!!

  25. Well, Alan, the surest sign of intellectual poverty is when you can only offer personal attacks as a feeble response to an disagreement that you can't win on the merits.

I have nothing to prove to you and feel no inclination in the least to defend my masculinity from a juvenile playground bully who thinks namecalling does anything but demonstrate a serious lack of manhood.

Some years ago, I tossed off idiots who throw around "faggot" when they don't have anything better to offer. So if you think you have anything to say that I haven't heard before and from braver people than you appear to be, then waste all the breath you want.
