Anna Nicole Smith Has Died at 39
Former Playboy Playmate, model, reality show star, and Trim-Spa spokeswoman Anna Nicole Smith died after collapsing this afternoon at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Access Hollywood reports: "Anna Nicole had been rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, shortly after 2 p.m. EST after collapsing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Local police were reportedly forced to shut down the streets to expedite rushing her to the hospital. According to reports, fire crews and emergency personnel performed CPR on Smith and put a tube down her throat. According to a witness on the scene, when rescue workers arrived, Anna Nicole was unresponsive. Her bodyguard was also reportedly visibly shaken at the scene."
Police officials said they were told by the hospital that Smith was dead at 2:49 pm. Cause of death has not been disclosed, though some are speculating that heart issues are to blame, and others allege she was the victim of a drug overdose.
Smith leaves behind a five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.

Her "husband" the lawyer Howard Stern probably killed her.
How is it that her son dies and a few days later he marries her.
Then they are fighting tooth and nail so that the real father in LA does not do a paternity test of her new daughter.
This is FREAKING wierd!

Two things are sad about this:
1. Her death.

What I think is sad is that just because somebody dies, we all of a sudden are expected to act like they were great people. She was a druggy and an alcoholic, who neglected her child to the point that he also became a druggy alcoholic and eventually died because of it. The fact that she died (due to her drug and alcohol problem, Im sure) doesnt turn her into Mother Theresa, or make her life any less worthy of poking fun.

My guess is Howard had a hand in her death.
Howard and Anna probably had already moved all of her property and assets out of the country so the next step was to get rid of her. Don't let him get on a plane or you'll never see him again.

So much sadness. I can't imagine what it must have been like to lose a son. The pain must be overwhelming, to say the least. Sadly, now her other child will suffer from not having had an opportunity to know her mother. God knows Anna's body of work (and most likey reason for death) won't be easy to handle.
I'm guessing the rumors about her METH drug addiction, her son's METH drug addiction, etc.. was about to be made public. I only hope that her lawyer comes under fire. It would seem he was an enabler who was merely riding her fame wave.
Everyone loses, except the media which is having a field day with this. You would think a HUGE movie star had passed.

Poor thing. As weird and out of control as her life appeared to be, it's sad that she should die so young... especially after her son's death.

I heard she OD'd on TrimSpa, baby!
The only one I feel sorry for is her birth mother, her baby child and her toothless cousin who could have really use a new set of dentures (at 36 years old).
I guess poor Kimie should be considered as well. After all, she did pay tribute to her lady boss with that nasty tat on her arm. The injustice..
Sorry, this was a tragedy we all expected. She was either going to jail, losing the child or going to be found dead. I'm guessing she chose the easiest route. I can only hope that bottom feeder of a lawyer gets what is coming to him. Never has such a soap opera been so obvious.

Its just awful news, desperate for her daughter to grow up with no memory of her mother. I feel particularly sad when someone famous who is younger than me passes away, I hope she finds some peace.
The autopsy is tomorrow, so could we have a bit of respect about ANS for now, for Dannielynn's sake, please?

gosh. tragic. remember how gorgeous her GUESS ads were? i remember seeing her interviewed on House Of Style in the early 90's; it was her, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista at some fashion event. she seemed slightly ditzy, but no more so than Christy or Linda. obviously this was before drugs set in... she was a classic beauty.

Say what you will about Anna Nicole but she managed to live her life on her own terms and in her own way and whether you believe it for the better or ill, she left her mark on this world. Who among us isn't striving for the same thing in our own individual lives and who among us wouldn't want that as our epitaph? I certainly would...

This is no time for humor. Weither you like her or not she had a terrible last 6 months. He son dies and the media and all the vultures never gave her one day of peace. She was being sued right and left. Any of you who has lost a parent or someone close to you who finds this a time to judge her shows what type of character you have. So quick to judge. So quick to find a laugh. How sad are you. If you had any Christian, Jewish or any religious heart or even common sense you would know that this is not entertainment. This is sad. Read through the posts... yes, her Guess ads were fuckin' flawless... yes, very Marilyn Monroe ending--part of me is not shocked... melodramatic to the end... people here prove themselves to be idiots--do you know Howard K.
