The first two Weissmuller Tarzan films are great for appreciating Johnny's splendid physique. After that the Hays Code cracked down and put a limit on the amount of flesh that could be displayed.

Geoff Ryman conjures Weissmuller in a gay context rather well in his novel "Lust".
