I don't get it. Just because someone puts stereotypical gay blather into the mouths of (barely) animated whales doesn't make it funny... or interesting.

A couple of lisping, campy, trollish voice overs added to a (barely, as has been pointed out already) reads as an annoying attempt at stereotyping gays.
This, I would expect from an anti-gay site, not Towleroad. You can do better, Andy.

It's another example of laughing "at" instead of "with." Planet Unicorn is hilarious because it doesn't mock anyone, in fact, the unicorns are often heroes who save the day.

Well, I'm not mean enough to be a bitch, and I'm not having enough fun to be a whore. No, I didn't find it funny. They should've gotten real "queens" to write and read the script. Straight guys and mainstream gay guys just can't do this schtick and make it work...oh, wait a minute, there was Jeffrey Wright in "Angels In America" He was too believable and knew how to talk "queen talk" beyond stereotypical shit.
