UK Christian Group Ad Claims Gays Aim To Abolish the Family

Cctv

An advertisement from the Christian Congress for Traditional Values (CCTV) claiming that the main goal of gay people is to "Abolish the Family" has been criticized by the UK's Advertising Standards Authority, which told the group to "ensure future campaigns were not presented in a way that could cause serious offence or which might lead to antisocial behaviour."

The BBC reports: "The ASA upheld complaints against the ad, ruling that it could be inflammatory. The poster broke advertising rules on social responsibility, decency, matters of opinion and truthfulness, the ASA said. A complainant had said the advert did not accurately represent gay people's views and was offensive. The watchdog said that a modern family was increasingly less likely to include a married man, woman and their children. 'We considered the statement and the way it appeared was likely to cause offence both to the mainstream gay community and supporters of equality,' said an ASA spokesman."

  1. Right...

That's why my husband and I had to run away to Canada to get married, have three children of our own, and a gorgeous new granddaughter... All because we want to somehow "abolish" the family... Me so thinks not...

  2. Actually, it's true. I don't know about you fools, but I leave my apartment every morning thinking, "What can I do today to take that next step toward abolishing the family?" It's a struggle, clearly, because those heterosexuals have a strong foothold. But I figure the more I spread my gayness, the more heterosexuals are just going to get fed up and say, "DAMN IT, look at the queer! Oh, he completely screwed it up, no more marriage for me. NEVER!" And that is what let's me sleep at night and gives me a reason to wake up in the morning.

  3. Hmmm. Wouldn't it make more sense to just stick with the old "gays want to recruit your children" argument instead? According to the agenda of the weekly underground meeting I attend, our goal is encourage families to have MORE children so that those of us who are covert operatives working within the education system can have easy access to those ever so vital, yet vulnerable young minds.

And of course, since we've seen our numbers dwindling for past twenty years or so, we need the clueless heteroz to make more babies, now more than ever! We'd incorporate the lesbians into the mix but they can be SO unreliable, you know.

Ooops, I get the feeling I've said too much....

  4. given the high rate of dysfunction and breakups in their precious traditional family, it seems to me the hetties are doing a good job of it on their own...

Speak for yourself. I'm too busy planning the overthrow of all world governments and establishing gay domination of the entire planet.

  6. Okay, who gave them a copy of the Gay Agenda secret handbook? You guys know you’re not suppose to let the non-gays see it. We’ll need to get to the bathroom stalls and start tapping our secret coded messages to special ops agent Larry Craig to get it back.

  9. Yep, there it is. Right there on my Homosexual Agenda checklist: item #69: ABOLISH THE FAMILY! (Wicked, sardonic laugh here!) Sigh! When will this christian filth understand that heterosexuals are doing a GREAT job of destroying the ideal of "family" without help from us queers?

  16. There are left-wingers who'd like to abolish the patriarchal oppression of the nuclear family and achieve complete sexual and financial liberation, but you more read about them then find any. Nice to see, too, the land of George Orwell at it again with making everyone play nice--as if.

Great to see that freedom of speech is alive and well in the UK.

  18. Seriously, what the fuck?

Gays want to abolish the family?

Bitch, please. Gays only want their rightful place in the family and their families recognized; they don't want the "family" abolished.

Gay people are no threat to families. Those British Christians should look to people like Britney Spears, Ted Haggard, Jennifer Lopez, et al for a true threat to the family.

Plus, the man-woman-2.3 children family is only a relatively new phenomenon. Most families were created throughout history for community property purposes.
