Porn Actor Erik Rhodes Denies 'Tryst' with Marc Jacobs
Over the weekend, Page Six looked into Marc Jacobs' love life and reported that the fashion designer is currently occupied by the massive embrace of porn actor Erik Rhodes:
"The new fling is likely the reason things have cooled again between Jacobs and former male escort Jason Preston, whom he's dated on and off since 2005. Sources said Jacobs' affair with Rhodes — who describes himself as 'Addictive. Wild. Open' on his ManNet.com profile — began last year when the designer invited Rhodes to join him and Preston for a three-way. Jacobs allegedly continued the fling with Rhodes one on one after that. "Jason thought he and Marc were exclusive again," said our insider. 'But Marc is sleeping with this porn star behind his back, and sneaking him to Paris for hot sex.'"
Rhodes denies the claims on his blog: "Well page six, thanks for running the story without having any credable information. This is just one of those instances where you can't believe everything that you read. I do however like that fact that a silly story like this is the top gossip news of the day... i guess it was just a slow week. Where is crazy britney when you need her! I guess it will be an even better story when i show up for his show this Friday. Drama drama drama. Jason Preston and i will just have to get into a cat fight while Marc's Fall collection comes down the runway."

I've always thought JP was kinda hot but something about Marc and Rhodes is gross and for some reason a 3way with all of them is kinda sickening

in response to the first comment, gossip or not, i thought rhodes' response was poignant... and i think that was the point of this 'gossip' post.
rhodes labels the whole pagesix fiasco silly and not news worthy, another reminder that you can't believe everything you read in the media. :)

It always amazes me when people feel it necessary to "comment" on what stories the readers of Towleroad should be interested in. Certainly we know by now that the very idea of gay related news is considered not only "light" by lascivious by most in this country. I actually think it's cool that the mainstream gossip rags are reporting on Marc and him menagerie of dates in the same way they do their straight celebutante peers. AND .. Marc is such a hoar ... hilarious

I liked Marc back when he wore clothes and glasses, was pale, wiry, and smoked ciggys all the time. This new Marc is kinda unsettling. Oh, and who knew Erik Rhodes was fairly intelligent. I guess you can't believe porn stars are stupid. See this post is worthwhile.

Responsible drug use could be considered "fairly intelligent" but whoring about NYC with the likes of Marc Jacobs and his sketchy man whore - plain stupid!
