RECENT STORIES:

The ad against the Mississippi Democrat is absurd. Mississippi white folks who are STILL in the Democratic Party are smarter then the ones in Ohio & Pennsylania. Right, Zeke...please?
Barack and the Press: Sometimes I wish half the news reporters in this country would just drop dead...well, that's kinda' harsh... maybe just mass laryngectomies.

Note the body language between Ann Compton and George Bush;
1. she makes the toast to the president something which is customary, as if it does NOT come from her,
2. she doesnt touch his glass
3. she doesnt shake his hand in public.
WELL DONE ANN

Yes, Andy, it's your blog and all, and you control the content, blah, blah, blah.
But your lack of coverage of politics lately is embarrassing.

I was going to comment on politics then I read JMG's comment and he took words out of my mouth.
Andy is in the tank for Obama and chooses not to cover the campaign because so much of the news recently has been negative towards Obama. Like others that support Obama efforts are made to ignore his lies and troubles.
The most recent poll today showed and Obama McCain mathup proving 46 for Obama and 44 for McCain. As for Clinton McCain matchup Clinton 50 and McCain 41. Same poll showed Obama slightly ahead when mated against Clinton, 46-43.
Of course that is nothing to say of the recent Wright controversey that has been re-lit by Wright himself.
Then there is the refusal to report anything additional about Larry Sinclair.
Donald Young the gay choir director at Obama's church was murdered "gang land" style in December 2007. Young claims to have had a sexual relationship with Obama. Young had been in contact with Larry Sinclair and revealed to Larry that he had had relationships with Obama and had contacted Larry Sinclair about the comments he was making about Obama having down crack in 1999 with Sinclair.

TOFER DAVID,
i support hillary because i think she is a fighter and she has a lot of experience in the halls of power. but i like obama too. there is virtually no difference in their policies. given that, i made my choice on less tangible grounds, but certainly not on race, and not sex. i have said before that i have no ethnic dog in this fight.
what i have also said before is that i believe in playing fair. you, i assume, are a good person, though i don't know you from adam. but be that as it may, what you are doing is deplorable. larry sinclair failed a lie detector test regarding his alleged sharing of drugs and sex with obama. the murder of donald young, according to gbmnews.com (a news blog for gay black men) was related to mr. young becoming involved in a love triangle with a member of the congregation and a frequent visitor to the church. as far as i could find, the chicago police continue to investigate (yeah, right).
the only serious concern about obama for me is the rev. wright connection. for repugs, the reverend is the gift that will keep on giving. i do not disagree with most of what he says, but i can understand why many people are put off by the way he says them. i snickered this morning when wright, asked about his so-called anti-americanism responded, "i served six years in the military. does that make me patriotic? how many years did cheney serve?" the reverend is an intelligent, quick-witted man. but still....

you base your entire rejection on sinclair based on a slanted polygraph which allegedly was proved to pass by the computer but the person running it claimed it failed.
the same polygraph that was to have been posted and shared via the website that paid for it. only the website never revealed the results nor the video and deleted all content of the polygraph from its website.
allegedly this very website may be connected to the obama campaign.

TOFER,
Do you actually believe that Barack or his campaign, or the gang members in Chicago would order the execution of a gay choir director? Well, then, let me tell about Reverend Jeremiah Wright's explanation of how the AIDS virus came into being.
