Olbermann Slams Bush, the Iraq War, and His Golf Sacrifice Lies

Bushgolf

In one of his most searing "Special Comments" in recent memory, Keith Olbermann takes apart Bush's interview with Politico in which he said that he had sacrificed playing golf for the war in Iraq.

OlbermannThat statement turns out to be a lie, and Olbermann exposes it, noting, as many bloggers pointed out yesterday, that Bush was playing golf a good two months after he claims he had stopped playing.

  2. What has Olbermann said here that he hasn't said a thousand times before. He's becoming a tendentious bore just like right-wing commentators. He's also annoying unprofessional. He should have guest commentators come on to do opinion pieces. Christopher Hitchens or anyone from the NY Times would do much better.

  3. ANON

Christohpoer Hitchens is a cool atheist, but he supports the Iraq war 100% still and thinks Bushco will be vindicated.

  4. Ah! I always forget Andy's b'day is after mine! Every year. I guess I'm too self-centered to realize other Taureans exist haha. Happy birthday Andy! And to your friend Ernie, Kevin! I'm sure he's an awesome guy, as I've never met a fellow Taurus I didn't like. :-)

  6. Keith Olbermann is neither authentic or heroic -- what an asinine comment. So there's a picture of Bush playing golf two months after he said he gave it up. How many more are there? Does it make more sense that the purpose of his giving up golf was a self-realization that didn't come overnight? What is so mind-boggling about the sentiment behind his sacrifice? Seriously, Olbermann is about as respectable a news reporter as someone from Inquirer or Star Magazine. And to watch him every night is akin to brainwash; he's bafflingly un-insightful and partisan. I'd rather watch Dan Rather.

  7. Nice try, robert, but I'd hardly consider a semantical mix-up by Obama with the out-and-out BRAZEN lies and arrogance of the Busheviks as somehow comparable in any way. But, LCRs always find a way to justify loving their Republican daddys.

  8. Oh AIDEN, if you took Mary Cheney's dick out of your mouth once in awhile, the oxygen would benefit your remaining brain cells.

  13. Hey, JIMMYBOYO...did a little amateur research on Prescot Bush. He didn't seem so bad. He didn't seem to be involved with the Union Bank's association with the Nazis. He was also part of the "moderate" wing of the Republican Party and supported Civil Rights. Prescot's father, Samuel Bush, was a somewhat progressive Democrat. So, the Bush's weren't all that bad till the coming of Bush the Idiot (with the exaggerated Texas accent).

Well, so much for the history lesson. I still say, Bush the Idiot aint no where near the man that his grand-father was.

And I aint being "intellectually dishonest" today, ABRACADAVER --I said, "amateur research".
