Cyndi Lauper Will Take You Till You're All Spun Up

Cyndi Lauper just released the video for her new single "Into the Nightlife" which she shot at New York's gay bar Splash. Adult film actor-turned-singer Colton Ford loaned his body out for the shoot.
Lauper will be participating in daytime TV's first gay pride episode as she's written into the Luke and Noah storyline on As the World Turns, airing on July 3rd.

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Love Cyndi, OK song it needs a better mix for her great vocals IMHO. Lauper is one very talented musician/singer/songwriter. As for CF, he once again reminds us what Mitch Miller would look like if he were alive and on ‘roids.

Kudos to Cindi for her diversity and ability to channel herself into just about anything. I think the song is great for gay club disco. Eventually it'll end up in another gay anthem CD collection. Actually, that shit starts sounding like dialtone after a while. Still love Cindi.
As for Colton Ford..."adult film actor"???
HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHHAHAHA! You mean exhibitionist whore, right?

I love this song! Cyndi got me up and dancing, like it's 1985 again. Thought I was getting too old to enjoy dance music this much. She is a true doll, just love her!!

the links "Andy In" and "Colton Ford" are not separated by a comma, resulting in amusing double entendres. LOL!

Gotta love how Colton "claims" to want to get out of porn, but yet he takes his shirt off every chance he gets and is still a tired queen with no music career that whines about it. Guess that's why he is doing this video

Love Cyndi, love the song, it's back to the good old days again! I don't care what anyone says, Colton is hot!!

I'm so over "Nuke". Verbotene Liebe's "Ollivian" makes "Nuke"'s story line look like a scene from High School Musical.
The Germans know how to do gay daytime right.

So why all the hating on Colton Ford? You have to give the man some credit for following his dreams and trust me if you had a body like his you would be naked on film all the time.

One of the most entertaining DVDs you could ever rent would be NAKED FAME, a documentary on Colton Ford's attempt to transition from porn star to pop musician. Unintentionally H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. Go rent it now. You'll be thanking me.

Ditto Dan on the Colton Ford bitterness. He's trying his best to do what he wants, so stop yer bitching.

kudos to cyndi for making splash look fun. that ain't no small accomplishment

Sorry, but this comes off as the stand-in outtakes from Madge's "Ray of Light" video. Which is 10 years old, BTW.

"He's trying his best to do what he wants"...
uh...correction to that...he's been "TRYING" for a few years and has failed...give it up already and just accept that a roided out body is the only thing he'll be known for. as mentioned, rent the dvd about him trying to be a musician - epic fail

Look, I certainly wouldn't kick Colton off my face, but has anyone ever seen him and Rupert Everett in the same room?

How come no mention of Lucas Silveria from The Cliks cameo?
I'm way more impressed to see Lucas than Colton Ford.
By-the-way, has anyone else notice Lauper keeps wearing that same shirt with the Sailor Jerry print on it (the one she is wearing on stage in the video)? That is like the fifth time I have seen her wearing it in an "appearance".

Correction: Silveira
Damn typos.

What do y'all care whether Colton Ford pursues a music career? Does the fact that he hasn't been as successful with that as he was with porn mean that he shouldn't do it at all? Maybe he just loves music and is doing it whether it makes him rich and famous or not. I hope y'all have something in your lives that you feel that way about.
And Dan, you're right. If I looked like Colton Ford I'd be naked all the time. All. The. Time.

Cyndi's videos always look like so much fun.
I'll take this over the "new" madonna drivel anyday.

just another attempt to make an old, tired singer relevant. It does not work in the least..alt least not for anyone under 30.

i love the cd. the opening three songs are great and it's nice to hear dance songs where the vocal isn't predominantly vocoder.

Why are we still comparing Cyndi with Madonna is beyond me. Cyndi is the talented one...she sings well, she writes her own music and she actually supports our community more than anyone I know. Great new video- glad to see Cyndi back to the dance sound!

I'm 22 and I am LOVING HER NEW SONG!

She looked like a disembodied head floating around in some parts. The song's great. The video was too much like random QAF Babylon scene.
