Barack Obama Dress Hits Paris Runway

Barack Obama also made an appearance at the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac 2009 ready-to-wear show in Paris, in the form of a sparkling canary yellow dress, complete with "Yes" glove. In the spirit of fairness, the model also wore a "No" glove on the other hand.

Ah, to be a presidential candidate and a sex symbol. Well, I guess Kennedy and Clinton found themselves in that position too.

"Beyond stupid looking!"
J, you've got to be talking about the dresses. You cannot be referring to Jack, Bubba & Slim Jim....all three sexy and charming.

I am so tired of fashion/celebrity getting involved in politics. No one in those arenas has anything intelligent or lasting to say.

Ahhh ,,, Castelbajac ... he does this stuff quite often .. he recently did an ode to Britannia with dresses with printed Queens and Alice in wonderland ... Ill admit this looks a bit Moschino, but this aint a surprise from Jean Charles ... u rock!

I'm not impressed by any so-called "statement" from a hyprocritical industry that doesn't even acknowledge African American models, not to mention the $949,000,000 we spend yearly, the overall influence of blacks in terms of fashion and the industry as a whole.
And a thin causcasian model modeling (exploiting)the image of Obama is supposed to make me think that they're oh so aware? Please pardon my righteous indignation.
