Philadelphia Philly Matt Stairs Enjoys His Home Run Reward
Matt Stairs, who joined the Phillies on August 30 just in time for post-season play, had this to say after his 8th-inning two-run, pinch-hit homer against the Dodgers:
"You want to get that one big hit where you feel like you’re part of the team … not that I don’t feel like I’m part of the team, by no means, but when you get that nice celebration coming into the dugout and you’re getting your ass hammered by guys, it’s no better feeling than to have that done."

This falls under Top 100 Gay Innuendo Quotes of the year, maybe even the decade. That is right up there with the passage on page 107-109 of A Separate Peace by John Knowles talking about boys in locker rooms in high school.
