'Terrorist!' is all McCain has Left

Today at a campaign event in Albuquerque, New Mexico, John McCain displayed his campaign's new 'character assassination' theme, asking the crowd "Who is the real Barack Obama?"
When a member of the crowd clearly yells out "terrorist!", McCain reveals a look of shock. It's his next expression, however, of smug satisfaction, that's more telling.
As AmericaBlog notes, it's another "how are we gonna beat the bitch?" moment which McCain is again perfectly happy to go along with. It's all he has left.
Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

Just like everything that McCrazyCain does, this too will BACKFIRE on him big time.
He doesn't want to talk about the economy, but we will and remember that it is the bush economy he has supported over 90% of the time.
And so much for his LIES that he wanted to conduct a respective campaign. Well, then he will get a piece of his own medicine:

"KEATING ECONOMICS: John McCain and the making of a financial crisis"

THE QUEEN is such a fabulous clairvoyant(e). She always forecasts these "surprises" that other people more accurately describe as "lies and smears". Remember in 2000 when Rove & Schmidt spread the rumour about McCain having an "illegitimate" black child. McCain was so upset. And then he hired Schmidt, right? What a nice surprise. He clearly wants Schmidt to spread wonderful "surprises" about Obama too. What a forgiving soul McCain is.

I love how, during McCain's speech, there is the constant presence of the ticker from the Dow, reminding us that eight years of Republican leadership has hobbled this nation.
Posted by: peterparker | Oct 6, 2008 7:55:43 PM
Huh, see that ticker underneath says to me that we were sold on a 700 billion dollar bail out. A bail out that was loaded with pork projects by the Senate and rammed down the House's throat.
If it was such a great plan then why the bad day?

if the republican ticket fires up its base to believe ridiculous things about Barack, such as that he's a terrorist (the ultimate smear in America's current paranoid milleu) I worry about what dangerous thing some right-wing wack-job's might do, 'in the service of my country.' Blood will be on the republican's hands if there's any sort of assassination attempts on Obama's life.

I just ranted about this on my blog, so I won't again here, but McCain (and Ms. Starburst) has completely lost all integrity. What a despicable exit for him and, if these tactics actually work, what a despicable way to get votes. I hope his empty and true angry old bastard colors shine thru in the next debate. He should be ashamed.

Who's wrong, Tofer? Besides you and Larry Sinclair, of course?

I'm sorry, but did that man shout "kill him"?! It sounds awfully like he did. I certainly hope not...
Did any one else notice a few things about the "audience"? As in the crowd is incredibly small compared to Obama's AND they're all WHITE?

Someone DID shout "Kill Him" at a Palin rally today, and she of course just carried on as though it was totally normal:

in my few years of reading this blog, the queen is never wrong: its silly to assume that mclame will not pull out all kinds of nasty fabrications to 'assasinate' obama over the next month; if the past is reliable, however, its unlikely that obama will fall. it will get much nastier tho....

I'm waiting for the "October Surprise". A few years back it was the Democrats releasing information on GWB's drunk driving conviction. Who's going to pull what in about a week or two is going to be very interesting to watch.

McCain, McCain, McCain... now he's left with projecting his own insecurities and outright lies. "Terrorist"? "Angry" black man stereotyping??
It's too bad such a once-honorable man and American statesman has sold his reputation and his legacy all in the name of ambition. McCain is not worthy enough to run the local 7-11. He needs to be put out to pasture.
We have had 8 years of lies, deceipt, posturing, evasiveness and stonewalling. And the world has watched us in disbelief. Enough is enough. Americans deserve better.

This is truly sad to see in McCain and his supporters. They've been reduced to caricatures with inane ramblings akin to what you see and hear on right wing websites like freerepublic.com and lucianne.com. Truly, truly sad. One wonders if Palin will call in the witch doctor to put McCain back on track.

Doesn't surprise me that McCain said nothing--he didn't say anything when the woman, during the primaries, asked him, "What are we going to do to beat the bitch?", in reference to Hillary Clinton.

Queen is just like the agitator of any fascist philosophy. What could happen? Oh, I don't know-martial law drawn out of financial panics, a nuclear 'incident' with subtle suggestions that this was brought on by some minority or foreign entity, or the revelation that this whole bailout was just another way that an unelected man can control our economy. Fear, hatred and smears is all that McCain has left.
Wake up, America, and be careful of people that claim "Country First." They are not putting country first.
