  1. it seems to me that the next 20 seconds of what Ifill says are the most important but the video cuts them off.

  2. Why do I torture myself by watching those clips from The View? Blerg.

    Never again!

  3. Hassleback, as with the extreme sect of her Republican party, argues her points instead of discusses them. First Rosie, now she's arguing with Whoopie, Joy, Sherri, and now Barbara. Elizabeth seems more and more desperate every day.

  4. RE: HASSLE - Fittingly, the Republicans seem more and more desperate every day.

  5. Gwen didn't appreciate that Palin was ignoring her questions ?? and instead spouting her memorized talking points ?? Gee, you sure couldn't tell it by her response.. Gwen caved when she had the opportunity to call Palin on her ploy.. and take back control of the debate's format and procedures. I'm grateful Biden won big anyway.. but Gwen bungled her opportunity to shine.

  6. ....some people felt that gwen should have admonished palin for not answering questions, but the agreed upon format and conditions by the republicans dictated that the moderator was NOT allowed to ask follow up questions under the guise that two VP candidates would then debate one another...this did two things: covered up the fact that palin only had prepared talking points and would falter having NO answers to follow up questions, and took into account how it would appear to viewers if biden took palin too much to task for ducking questions and then risk the apprearance of beating up on her...the right is very crafty...

  7. All of the women on The View are shrewish, in my opinion.

  8. ... Gwen could have asked Palin why she was arbitrarily changing the rules and procedures her campaign staff had agreed to. And then explained the rules of the debate to her and asked her to comply. Again I say, Gwen caved and Palin walked all over her.

  10. Palin/NYT

Interesting that she has no use for "the mainstream media" except when she can take a snippet from one of its newspapers and distort it to her agenda.

  11. I am SICK from watching McCain/Palin spew twisted information claiming Obama is a "terrorist", allowing people in the audience to threaten his life and not say ANYTHING except smile at their hubris. Obama's life has been threatened on camera, and if ANYTHING happens to Obama McCain/Palin may be prosecuted. Freedom of speech only extends to speech that does NOT incite violence. Individuals may be held accountable if their speech incites people to do harm, as is this case in this instance.

Further, Palin is on RECORD in VIDEO this YEAR addressing her husbands secessionist group in March, telling them to "keep up the good work". A group that has cursed their country. A group that denounces this country. THAT is terrorism.

I also read an article on the front page of The New York Times online in which individuals interviews in Iowa are quoted at stating that Obama "is the antichrist". As well, audience members assaulted the press at one of Palin's speeches when Palin accused the press of being "bias". This is disgusting. I am highly disturbed by what I have seen from humanity. This is a fall from grace.

  12. Is it wrong that even though I often disagree with her, I LOVE that Sherri Shepherd loses her shit when someone talks smack about Barack Obama?

  13. I'm by far a prude but while Sarah Palin was bagging mooses in the wilds of Alaska her underaged daughter was being bagged in her house and getting knocked up unmarried, not once but twice before her 16th birthday. If this what we expect from the McCain/Palin duo,it is deplorable for this nation.Besides that they are homophobic but obviosly carry their morality in their sleeve, that makes them both ridiculous and a joke.If all the underaged evangelical girls are permitted to get knocked up outside of "marriage",I don't know what Bible are they reading and teaching their children.Outrageous anf hilarious at the same time.He,he,he...Duh.
