Woman Attempts Citizen's Arrest of Karl Rove for Treason

Here's the most amusing Karl Rove clip I've seen since his interview with On Harvard Time's anchor Derek Flanzraich.

At a forum at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, a discussion between Rove and former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell was interrupted by three sets of protestors, including one woman who got on stage and tried to put handcuffs on Rove and make a citizen's arrest for treason.

Following that exchange, Rove tried to make a point about negative campaigning by discussing John Kerry's jab the other day about McCain wearing Depends adult diapers.

Said Mitchell "I have to say I feel like Dorothy in the land of Oz hearing about you lecture about negative campaigns by others."

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

  3. Does anyone have the clip from the evening news where Rove is asked if Palin will cost McCain the election?

  4. The only comfort in this is knowing that that Fat Bastard Karl Rove and all of his Bush cronies are going to burn in hell when all this is over.

I agree, please give that woman a medal.

  5. This reminded me of what a Vermont township did last year

They passed a unanimous resolution that

1- forbade bush, Cheney, Rovem Rumsfeld from setting foot in their town

2- if said perps did set foot within town limits they would be arrested for crimes against humanity

  6. I hope she wasn't being serious. Citizens arrest is a very limited right, based only on some laws where you witness the crime.

  7. Well, ANON, thanks to television, we have ALL witnessed the crime.

  9. Why, HA!, should they have shot her? Because she "dared set foot near" that fucking waste of human carbon?
Please, however it was handled by security, I am sure it was done properly. If not to satisfaction of all.
If you feel that as an American citizen, we all should just shut up and be happy with what is going around us, and not try to change it, then maybe it is time you moved to Cuba, or China, where everyone is happy to get their loaf of bread, and cup of rice every day and live in their leaky shacks.
