Ed Westwick Not Afraid of Gay 'Crisis'

Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick was spotted by the folks from NewNowNext enjoying cocktails at the West Village's longstanding basement gay bar Marie's Crisis:
"...the lovely little British Ed seemed to be having a fun and low-key time. He was chatting with regulars at the bar, enjoying the sing-along antics of all the show gays (and the brassy, stout singing waitress), and looking kinda cute in his SuperFriends T-shirt and his leather jacket."
Westwick wasn't there with Chace Crawford, but with his new rumored girlfriend, co-star Jessica Szohr.

With all of the talk of boycotts and virulent anti-Mormonism on this site, why am I seeing Mormon.org ads? That seems hypocritical.

Maybe not the best place to post this request, but I've hit a dead end: When I lived in NYC in the 70s, one of my friends, David Summers, was a young, handsome, talented, up-and-coming actor/cabaret singer. He created the role of "The New Kid in Town" in the off-Broadway musical, "The Faggot," by Rev. Al Carmines. He contracted HIV and developed AIDS. In 1986 PBS in New York broadcast "Hero of My Own Life," David's own story, written by and starring David. I was not around when it was broadcast, and have only recently become aware of it. I've contacted WNYC in New York about the whereabouts of the video or film, but have never received a response. David died quite a while ago, so I can't ask him about it. His partner, Sal Licata, died in 1990, also from AIDS-related illness. David was a beautiful person (in every sense of the word), and I'd love the opportunity to see the film and/or acquire a copy. Where can I go to find it? I haven't found any library that has it in the archives. Help is humbly requested. Thanks.

Sorry I can't assist in your quest.
I used to love Marie's Crisis in the eighties.
So much fun. Nothing like that in So Cal, short of a karaoke bar.

Straight people love this place. I was there the weekend before last and it was full of straight people. There is a cool piano player named Franka there.
