Kirk's Nephew is Gay in Steamy New Addition to Star Trek Canon
These screenshots are from Star Trek Voyages which finally produced a long-awaited explicitly gay storyline entitled "Fire and Ice".
In the episode, James T. Kirk's nephew enters into a relationship with a male Enterprise crewman as the ship is threatened by an HIV-like virus and a Klingon attack.
And you gotta love the Mr. Sulu reference at the beginning of the relatively steamy action, which begins at around the 4:00 mark.

can you guys spell N-E-R-D? anyhoo, no one can surpass bill shatner for bad acting. these guys are sexy cute, so i'm not finding fault. but, i'm not a fanatic.

Sorry to be a late poster on this but I just found out about the post by you through another blog. I dont know how I managed to overlook it since I have your widget feed on my blog, that's right my computer died on my birthday. I need to give you more history about the actor that plays Peter Kirk.
Bobby Rice also played Bajoran Ro Nevin on Star Trek Hidden Frontiers from season 6-8 and the first episode of their spin off series The Odyssey. Hidden Frontiers was produced from 2000-2008 based on the aftermath of the movie Insurrection and Bobby played the husband of Lt. Cmndr. Corey Aster who is played by filmright and director JT Tepnapa who is actually married to another actor on the same series Adam Browne. The three of them had a three way relationship dynamic going on for several years on the show. I am currently adding your info in as an update to my original post Thank you for covering this but I wanted to let you guys know there is more to the story then just one fan fic but this is awesome to see unfold across the Star Trek Universe. And Bobby Rice has the talent and the predisposition to do it, since he already has with another character.
I will say that the love scene was both intense and corny, especially when they fell out of bed, that is what my ultimate fantasy is made of, intense and cory passion.
