Simon Cowell: I am Not Gay
For the Nth time, Simon Cowell is not gay:
"When he dies, he says he is going to leave his entire fortune to an animal charity, which suggests he has ruled out the possibility of ever marrying and having children. 'Well, that might all change,' he says, 'but it is unlikely. I just don't think marriage would suit me or, particularly, the person I would marry. 'I am quite happy single. I am friends with all my exes and I enjoy their company, but I keep crazy hours. So until I sort out what I am going to do in the next couple of years, or beyond, it is very difficult to think about something like that.' Of course, there have long been rumours, which just won't go away, that Cowell is gay. 'In this business, if you were gay it wouldn't be a problem, would it? It is not exactly unusual to be gay in the music business or the TV business. It is 2009, after all. So if you are, you are; if you are not, you are not.' And you are not? 'I am not gay,' he says, stubbing out his last cigarette and preparing to go back downstairs to the Britain's Got Talent bear pit."

Thank Darwin!!!!
I'm not surprised animals will be inheriting his fortune given that he's a pig.

Did anyone really think he was gay? I've never gotten that vibe from him.
Ryan on the other hand...

At this point why does Cowell even care?
What I find curious is why celebrities care about Gay rumours at all. If celebrities in question are indeed not Gay but heterosexual their heterosexuality will reveal itself consistently over time. So, why the concern? Because, whether Gay or Straight, they (and their managers and publicists) really feel being Gay is a bad thing and must denounce it publicly. Thanks guys.
A real showing of solidarity with the Gay Movement would be if all public figures would agree to say "no comment" and simply let their actions (i.e. dating patterns) speak for themselves.
Then maybe the dumbass media would get the point and stop asking such an incredibly rude stupid question.

Better not mess with LELAND today....not even CRISPY better try it.

Mark, he was asked in an interview and he answered the question. He didn't issue a press release. If he had said "no comment", such a response would have fueled even more rumours and speculation. I seriously doubt that he himself cares about any rumours.
Really, it's a no-win situation. There will always be someone dissatisfied with whatever answer he provides.

Because he is not that interesting so the media can't think of anything else to ask him.
I'd be curious to know how/why he made his last girlfriend an on-air personality when her speaking voice is so gawd awful.

Maybe he's just heterosexual with homosexual attachments.

The swallows must be returning to Capistrano because he says this every year about the same time. Stop flirting with Seacrest on live TV and the rumors will go away!

I think he's the perfect man....apart from the bad haircuts and lack of fashion sense. Seriously, he's a dreamboat.

I repeat:
There are people who actually WANT him to be gay?
Posted by: Jerry | Feb 2, 2009 7:34:30 PM
How can this be true? Cowell makes Boy George seem butch by comparison.

Simon is a fuckin genuis of the pop world in my mind and so what if people think he's nasty? Its A NASTY SOUL CRUSHING BUSINESS PEOPLE!! Simon Cowell tells all these dime store divas who parade in front of him looking and sounding all busted exactly what a record co. exec would tell them or just point to the door and suggest they use it. Living in the UK , I adore that dry British humour of his, I scream laff when he fobbs off these wanna be's..
As far as him being gay , dont get that vibe at all, this man is a class act in my mind.
Seamencrust however... HER...
WOMAN! full flaggot and desperately trying not to be to keep up the family values BUSHIT facade for FAUX News Network..
Ryan, give it up , even the old lady Liberace fans know what a sloppy power bottom you truly are... get over yourself..

I'm assuming that a lot of the people who read this site are gay right? Well if that's the case it completely destroys the notion that gay people all have "gaydar"! Seriously you think Simon Cowell is straight??? He says he's not gay because he calls himself bisexual having had relationships with women before in the past. I've had relationships with men before in the past but that doesn't mean I'm not a lesbian! Cowell has been in a relaionship with an A list Hollywood star for years (I would imagine someone like George Clooney for example). His last girlfriend was a paid beard who he gave 5 million quid to when her contract was fulfilled (that and a lot of media exposure for the previously unknown catalogue model of course). His PR is handled by PR guru Max Clifford who used to specialise in kiss and tells and now specialises by his own admission in "protection". The first thing he did with Cowell was send him to a lapdance bar to get him photographed with lapdancers, on of whom pretended to be his girlfriend. What would Cowell have to hide that needed being covered up by some busty strippers? Is there any more than one answer to that question? I'm amazed that everyone thinks he's straight!

Ok, so here goes, my friend F was and still is a make up artist on X-Factor. She told me that it's fairly common knowledge that Simon is Bi.
Quite often she noted that he had a certain young male escort visit him during shoots for X-Factor. She said it was such common knowledge that it's quite well known within the music industry that he is Bi. She said it was so well known on the X-Factor set that most people didn't even bat an eyelid about it.
So there is your information you need. Simon Cowell is Bi.

If he's not Gay he is certainly cold. I don't believe people when they say they are too busy and all that. If you can't commit to someone, likely you are not the warmest person.
I agree with person who posted that he is bi-sexual. That seems the most likely.

SO TRUE that Ryan Seacrest is very Gay and won't admit it. Its so obvious though he makes himself look like an idiot for not just admitting it. That Julianne Hough fake romance is hilarious. My take on that is that SHE is also Gay or at least bi-sexual { I think she is straight-up Gay}, and they are just doing each other a "favor" by faking a "romance".
AS cute as Julianne is, she LOOKS very gay to me, she's a feminine-gay. Those are tricky to spot, unlike the Dykes.
