'God Hates Fag Hag' Shirley Phelps-Roper Goes to the White House
Shirley Phelps-Roper and a contingent from the Westboro Baptist Church paid a visit to the White House yesterday to pray for God to shortly destroy the "antichrist" Barack Obama. They were met by counter-protestors who far outnumbered them, according to Campus Progress.

I saw them there and joined in the jeering by laughing at them. Laughter in their faces is the most effective means to annoy them because taunting back only gives them negative reenforcement, upon which they thrive.
Long live free speech! The more these cretins march and spew their hate, the more people they convince to join our struggle for basic human rights.

I totally agree with Rudy. It's almost a good thing that they come out and say the things they say and do the things they do. I truly believe that this kind of extremism is more of a turnoff than it is effective, even to those that may have agreed with them in the first place.

Weren't these mo-rons sued for gazillions of bucks recently? How can they keep patrolling the nation spewing their hate when they have a court judgment against them?

Their message has become more and more confused over the years; I mean, how many signs is that woman holding, anyway? As they get crazier and crazier, I keep expecting them to show up some day with signs that say something like "God Hates Cap'N Crunch" or "Pray for More Dead Kittens."

How, exactly, do these people manage to take these trips over and over again across the country? Who is financing their political activism?
Should they be tax-exempt (are they?) as there is certainly no religion involved in their church, just spewing hate, abusing their children (by forcing their participation in Phelps' looney antics) and whoring for the media. What kind of church is that??

DARREN Fred Phelps lost his lawsuit in 2006 for protesting a soldiers funeral, the award was $11 Million. Phelps claims to have no funds, despite the fact they spend $250 K a year on travel.
The church has around 70 members, mostly family. Fred had 13 kids, that bitch Shirley has 9. They also are almost all lawyers, they make a lot of money filing lawsuits against the government, business and people who confront them. Despite their claims, most believe their money is all hidden.

The nature of narcissists' personality disorder is so profound and so primitive that narcissists damage virtually everyone who comes into contact with them. They hurt their children in ways that are hardly imaginable to anyone who hasn't been there. Narcissists elicit profound and primitive wrath, rage and hostility from sane and stable people. Ok, so there is no one here that does not know how much I disagree with Obama. However, he is OUR president! I support free speech but when does this clan cross the line? When do we shut them down? While I do not agree with Obama's politics he is hardly the anti-christ!
Shirley Phelps-Roper is as crazy as anyone in American history. My only hope is that they will cross that very important line soon and be shut down for good! What a looser!!!!

As vile and offensive as the slime pouring out of their mouths is, I will defend their right to spew it. That is free speech, I don't have to agree with their message, but we all have to allow them to voice it in a public place.
The thing I will openly and veomently oppose is the picketing of private family funerals and functions. If the Westboro group wants to picket 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, The Capital in Washington DC or any state capitol or governors mansion then they should be allowed to, but I say keep them away from private family functions. I consider them picketing a funeral the same as yelling FIRE in a crowded theater, it's wrong.
LET ME SAY I DO NOT AGREE WITH THEIR HATE AND BIGOTRY, -- I am a gay man who thinks the louder they rant the more people see how inappropriate their message is.

The narcissist attacks because he or she is a predator, period. Predators attack any vulnerable prey that crosses their sights, period. Therefore, the prey is NEVER one bit to blame. You stop being a victim when you win justice and get it back, period.
Let's get real. Narcissists think they have a right to punish you just for being the way you are. Think, don't you have the right to be the way you are? Do you have to be some character in the narcissist's fiction that conforms to his or her specifications?
Does that make any sense? That's as hateful as the crime against humanity of attacking people just for being a certain KIND or nationality.
I don't care how "threatened" any of that makes the poor, twisted narcissist feel. His/her perverted feelings are HIS/HER problem, not yours. Like Osama bin Wanton, he/she will never run out of twisted excuses to irrationalize his attacks on you, so get off the guilt trip. His/Her perversity is not YOUR vice.
In some cases, the narcissist has stolen something of value from you, like your job or reputation or personal welfare or health - something you definitely have every right to get back from that monster.
