LL Cool J: Getting Hit on by a Gay Guy Just Expands Your Options

Llcoolj

LL Cool J remained cool while being tracked by a TMZ cameraman at the airport as the cameraman attempted to strike up a provocative conversation with the rapper.

Asked TMZ's pap: What if you go to a bar and get hit on by a gay guy, does that change your nickname?

Replied LL Cool J: Nah. I guess it just expands your options, huh?

  1. Ugh oh, Kanye is having a postive effect afterall. LL's response is a far cry from when he terrorized Rupaul years ago. Now I can enjoy looking at those fabulous 40 year old muscles.

  2. It is just tragic to see him let himself go like that. My gosh, hit the gym, LL!

  5. Bravo, LL! And fuck you, TMZ, for clearly trying to evoke an anti-gay response.

  6. I agree with David - LL kept his cool, the question TMZ posed was ridiculous.

  7. What a bullshit thing for the guy from TMZ to ask. Gay-baiting asshats. TMZ = Fail.

  10. Yeah, I got the WTF look right now. What was the TMJ reporter trying to say? I don't get it. Fucktards.

Hats off to LL. The man has always appeared intelligent to me, but I wasn't aware of any RuPaul terrorizing going on. RuPaul might be a sweet sister nowadays but I have no doubt that bitch could work a last nerve if she wanted.

  11. Ugh, TMZ people are such incredible scumbags.

  12. LL has been rumored to be bi for YEARS. I remember the rumor floating back in the days of AOL gossip boards. Could be because he's smokin', but it's a pretty consistent rumor, almost like it's an open secret.

  13. Terrorized RuPaul? Please divulge. I remember RuPaul actually being a guest star on LL's television show.

  15. I'd love to have LL expand my options. I'd heard some time ago that LL "swung". He's not the first rapper I've heard about either. Um, it rhymes with bent.... nah, I won't go there.

  16. Oh, duh, everything TMZ does is ridiculous - they're the trailer trash of syndicated TV.

    L.L., short but classy...

  17. I'm not sure if this is the what DERRICK FROM PHILLY meant by "terrorize" but a quick search on YouTube returns this clip:

  19. JASON,

according to Ru it was when "she" appeared on LL's show "In The House" back in the 90s. Ru says that LL was horribly homophobic and called Ru the "F" word to "her" face. Well, maybe LL has grown since then--in his maturity & understanding, not body parts (I'm told those enlargement gimmicks don't work...but beautiful muscles are more important than big ding dongs any day--and that's the truth).

Of course, Rupaul understands what every drag queen does: just because a macho man doesn't like drag queens in the daytime doesn't mean he doesn't like drag queen ding dongs in the dark of night.

  20. To Derricks' point, the general population's maturity and understanding has evolved so much in the past 15 years, so it's natural to see that in a 'celebrity'. Kudos to Rupaul and the other trailblazers who risked everything to be who they are. Its it too trite to give her a "YGG" now?

  21. Always had the hots for LL, loved his video with Jlo. Now it's great to hear he called those douche bags on TMZ on the bait.

  22. I went to school around where Marc Anthony, Howard Stern, and LL had homes..

I heard that he had a "male friend" living in the guest house..

  23. So, what do his initials stand for?

    Posted by: anon | Mar 6, 2009 4:40:38 PM

  24. I think that's setting the bar pretty low. DAMN THOSE TAWDRY TABLOID REPORTERS for trying to get Ladies Love to say something homophobic (I want my name to be a sentence, too!)...he should be given a fucking medal for doing the right thing. As should we all...because doing the right thing is clearly over and above what we should do.

I guess he's changed if the ru paul story is true...though, ru is kind of obnoxious, and I might be tempted to...

  25. TMZ is stupid. Good for you LL
