  2. Obama needs to end this silly Cuba policy now. End the embargo, end the travel ban.

US citizens can go to North Korea, Iran, but not Cuba. Ridiculous.

  3. "Gay leaders inspired by renewed access to the President."

    Blah, blah, blahdidittyblah!

So, gasp, he asked when the hate crimes bill was going to hit his desk? Oh, how about after you come out of hiding in your post election bunker in relation to gay rights and publicly lobby for it, Mr. Promises er President? Gay/trans hate crimes [INCLUDING suicides] are on the rise. Do we have to spell it out in your hand, Helen?

Grading him on the Bush Curve was irrelevant before the first Obamabot drooled it. ENOUGH with the girly Hosannas! Past time to light a fire and hold his feet to it!

  4. I really liked Susan Boyle before she got all cracked out and started flashing her coochy to the paparazzi.

  5. Dolan can take his love and stick it up his sweaty asshole. If you don't think I'm your equal, then your "love" is pretty hollow and meaningless.

    Pure gold.

  7. Brad, Obama has eased up many of the Cuba policies which is a good thing.

Great to hear about Obama saying this in that Gay leaders inspired by renewed access to the President article:

"To their happy astonishment, the president didn't just quickly shake their hands on his way to greet the 30 or so other guests that night.

Instead, he asked when hate crimes legislation will reach his desk so he can sign it. And Obama listened as they stressed the need for a federal ban on job discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity -- legislation he supports.

"It was such a sharp contrast to the Bush administration -- to have a president that recognizes the issues that our community has been working on for a long time," says Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. "

Sadly, I bet many here who bitch and complain won't even read this.

  8. Thanx Len for that quick info.

    As for the bitches here.

I say this about homophobes all the time

Once a homophobe ALWAYS a homophobe.

    It works this way too

Once an Obama hater ALWAYS an Obama hater.

    No matter what he does.

However, its no surprise to me that everyone who has been against the man since day ONE are all white people.

Its quite evident to me that many whites of the so called "United States" still have an attitude about a black man being president. Its all over the news and thats the impression Ive been getting.Sick people

    *shakes head in disgust*

  9. "No matter what he does." Girlfriend, he hasn't done ANYTHING!

But you're right about one thing. The reason we hated Bush and Cheney and Rove so much was because they're black.

  10. I really appreciate Susan Boyles talent but I just want to rip off her wig and yell "she's a man, baby!"

  11. ^^^ ROFL I hate to laugh, and I'm not so much laughing AT Susan Boyles as at the Austin Powers reference.

  12. "Its quite evident to me that many whites of the so called "United States" still have an attitude about a black man being president. Its all over the news and thats the impression Ive been getting.Sick people"

Ok... first of all, OF COURSE THEY DO. Did you expect everything to change overnight and be sunshine and roses and happiness just because enough people have seen the light to get a black man elected? That's absurd, it's like thinking that now that Iowa and Vermont have legalized gay marriage, every single straight person in the state is happy about it. Wake up.

Second of all, and this is coming from an Obama supporter, saying that anyone who criticizes the current president is doing it because they're racist is a very sneaky and annoying tactic to use, almost unworthy of reponse but pervasive enough to do serious damage to the credibility of his supporters. Please try not to resort to it because you make the rest of us look bad.

  13. Poor Susan Boyles, she really needs an extreme makeover. Maybe she'll get one to match her voice, it would be nice for once to see someone get what they deserve, in a good way.

  15. Sean,

Hugo Chavez (half-Amerindian, half-African descent, read: not white) has called Obama an idiot, has referred to his "stench," and has little good to say about him.

  16. PS

He is cute but his lack of a chin always throws me off of the cristiano love fest.

He needs to snatch that chin implant from rupert everett. On cristiano it would actually be put to good use.

  18. Increasingly, the only thing I seem to have to say to the likes of Dolan and Michael Savage is, "Oh, just bite me."

    Posted by: gerry | Apr 16, 2009 7:53:13 PM

  19. So the gist of the Obama piece is that some naive gays are creaming in their drawers because the politician in chief made ass-kissy comments to them, as politicians do. Here's a tip - they tell you what you want to hear...and their message changes depending on who their audience is on a given day.

    Wake the fuck up.

He's already admitted (when it was expedient for him to do so) that he is against equal rights for gays. End of story.

Until he publicly supports gay marriage equality and unequivocally demands an end to the military ban, he is a liar and a bigot.

@Sean - you sound like a real racist asshole.

    Posted by: paul c | Apr 16, 2009 8:04:50 PM

  20. Leland Frances, once again whining without any constructive solutions.

Paul C., you need to wake the fuck up because, as usual, you sound like the liar and bigot here.

  21. Susan Boyle is da bomb!

I realize that perhaps millions of ordinary people have a potentially fine singing voice, but this lady is so unpretentious and genuine - just look at her - that I'm an instant fan.

    Posted by: Dave | Apr 16, 2009 8:36:04 PM

  22. Constructive Solution #1: pull your heads out of Obama's ass.

Constructive Solution #2: Ask him when he's going to even publicly SPEAK about keeping his promises to gays?

Constructive Solution #3: Reply to all those e-mails we're getting for donations to help him do HIS job that you "gave at the office er during the campaign and won't give another dime until you see some return on your investment"...and that INCLUDES the 2010 midterm elections which you are prepared to see the Democrats lose if they don't stop using us.

Posted by: Leland Frances | Apr 16, 2009 8:42:24 PM

  23. The white trash - excuse me, tea bagging "libertarian revolutionaries" - always come down fifty times harder on the Democrats than the Republicans.

    What else is new?

Eight years of death, destruction, and economic ruin, and we barely hear anything from these self-appointed soldiers of freedom. Now that the evil black man is in charge, however, they've all suddenly found their whiny, high-pitched political voice. Even though the federal income tax has been in place since 1913, they've decided to choose this very moment to not "stand for it" anymore. Egged on by the likes of Rick Perry and Sarah Palin, they're even talking about seceding from the union.

    Surprise, surprise.

Posted by: John in CA | Apr 16, 2009 8:54:41 PM

  24. I ♥♥♥ Susan Boyle!!

And just maybe people will accept her as she is without a makeover to "match her voice."

Haven't gays been fighting to be accepted "as we are?" Why is it different for Ms. Boyle?

    Posted by: soulbrotha | Apr 16, 2009 8:57:26 PM

  25. "Egged on by the likes of Rick Perry and Sarah Palin, they're even talking about seceding from the union.

LET ME. The thought made me smile. Give them Alaska, get them out of here.

I loathe extremists on both end, but I'm sorry, the far right has shown more venom and anti-Americanism than any other side. The recent political debating over the government reports about far right extremists being a threat raised a few good points. How many right extremists have recently attacked the US? Timothy McVeigh comes to mind. Now these clowns are attempting to rebel against a Democratic government by claiming an historical right of "no taxation without representation". They and their leader Glenn Beck need to read a few history books. Get them out of here!
