Scott Evans and Brett Claywell: One Life to Live's Hot Gay Cop Kiss

Here's the gay kiss scene from yesterday's One Life to Live.

One Life to Live
's Kyle Lewis (Brett Claywell) plays an old frat buddy of Oliver Fish (Scott Evans). When they run into each other Kyle forces Fish to remember something that happened long ago.

Works for me!

Watch it, AFTER THE JUMP...

P.S. - For those of you who don't know, Scott Evans is openly gay, and the brother of Chris Evans.

  1. And they didn't have to wait a year to kiss and it was actually a very passionate kiss. Things are getting better on the soaps.

  2. I'll take Luke and Noah any day.

  4. @ Brian: Please do. Take them far, far away...along with their boring and predictable story line.

  5. Um, yeah, totally hot and the guys aren't your typical t.v. stereotypes.

Who would have thought the soaps would help us show all the different sides of the gay community.

  6. Wow. I've never been into soaps but now I may have to change my mind.

  7. Ugh, bad acting. Hot guys though, and hey, thats half the battle! Not everyone can be Cate Blanchett and Daniel Day Lewis:)

  8. Funny. I've known Scott Evans for years running around NYC. He's a total cutie. Never realized that he was related to Chris Evans. Huh. How obvious.

  9. Oh my.... hot couple, and hot kiss!

Not sure why, but I love the fact that Scott is openly gay. Maybe it just makes him seem more accessible than his gorgeous brother. Wouldn't mind taking a swim in that gene pool! :)

  10. Hot kiss. But they chickened out on the dialog. He said, "Washing the gay away." instead of "Praying the gay away." They didn't want to offend their religious viewers.

  12. i've watched the abc soaps every day for years. i love how OLTL has grown this story line. Roxie is going to be even cooler than she ever was, now that it's obvious she's a big ol' fag hag too! i think it's also great that the storyline involves adults, instead of the usual 'coming of age' stories. OLTL did that already back in the early '90s with a very young Ryan Phillipe. I also love that Evans, the openly gay guy i real life, is the one grappling with his sexuality in this story-trying to date a girl and keep his 'gay' in the past, and the actual straight actor is playing the openly gay Kyle. it's just a fascinating story arc, bravo to OLTL writers and actors.

  13. I love Scott Evans' gravelly voice. Guy is cute!

  14. Scott Evans and Brett Claywell totally knocked that out of the park and into another state. Fantastic acting and the kiss was HOT! Bravo!

  15. Well it's a kiss. I wish it was better, more affectionate though. I'm still very happy that a gay couple's story is being told.

  16. It looks like they missed there. You'd like soap stars would be expert kissers.

  17. Haha - I noticed that too, anon!

  18. Perhaps Andy previously reported this, but here's a link to an interesting June interview with Scott Evans at AfterElton which came after his brother's "Advocate" interview:

    Class, can you say, "menage"?

  19. "Wouldn't mind taking a swim in that gene pool! "

that sounds so abhorrent. why would you say that?

  20. "that sounds so abhorrent. why would you say that?"
It's a play on words. Two very handsome people sharing genes from the same parents, e.g. come from same gene pool.

Know what? Nevermind. If you're too dense to get the humor, you're probably not going to understand with any amount of explanation. And frankly it's not my job to babysit every dullard who stumbles onto this site.

  21. The love story of Christian and Oliver on the German soap Verbotene Liebe (Forbidden Love) is way much better than any of the American soap.

    Posted by: Anon | Aug 7, 2009 4:49:49 PM

  22. Nice. Hope there is more to come. But I wonder why "Kyle" is featured in the opening credits while "Oliver" is not.

  23. One word: HOT!.....goin to start watching soups now, all the interesting gay storylines are on it!

  24. I totally knew Scott in college in NYC. We played catch phrase in his dorm room. I knew he was gay and hot at the time...and i'm happy his career is blossoming. Go Scott.

  25. DM - Oliver is a more recent addition to the cast. Kyle (Fish) has been on for quite a while. It often takes a while for an actor to get into the opening credits reel.
