Anti-Gay NYC 'Beatdown' Wasn't a Hate Crime, Says Friend with Homophobic Leviticus Tattoo
A friend of suspected gay basher Daniel Rodriguez who proudly displays his Leviticus tattoo says the attack on Jack Price wasn't an anti-gay hate crime and was justified because, he claims, Price hit on his attackers before the "beatdown" that sent Price to the hospital with a fractured jaw, rib fractures and a lacerated spleen.

We need to arm ourselves. I'm serious. I'm talking close quarters defense training and firearms, and groups of self-defense trained men and women on patrol. Black Panther style paramilitary self-defense organizations in every major gayborhood. Arm ourselves with the knowledge of concealed-weapons laws and self-defense laws of every state. Have meetings where self-defense tactics are practiced and learned. Hire attorneys to represent these organizations when the inevitable backlash hits. Enough poetry reading, bumpersticker philosophizing, and bickering about leadership. Self-defense starts with looking out for #1, then it extends to your friends. We need to have the attitude that no one is going to lay a hand on us or our friends, at any time, for any reason.

The tatooed guy was probably raped in prison and he needed that Leviticus mistranslation to remind himself that he's not supposed to enjoy it. Seriously, this kind of sh*t is going on more and more here in NYC. So, when do we start self-defense patrols?
