Peyser's column is by far the most offensive. She believes the bigot cabbie, who was fired by his boss who earlier agreed with him, but folded over the bad press.
So much for those who said the only reason it was reported was Bruno working for that rag. Once again the bottom line is that the cabbie should be watching the road, not his back seat.

Does Andrea Peyser have any idea what that cabbie and his male muslim friends think of women? Especially educated working women journalists who don't want to stay at home barefoot and pregnant? She should invite them over to her house when she's alone and find out.

I went to Starlite once, when I was visiting Manhattan on vacation. The local gay guide said it was a gay bar, but I was the only homo in there. It was a weeknight, though.

Thank you for pointing out the NYT article on same-sex marriage in the Netherlands. This October (today is our one month anniversary!) I married my American boyfriend and was truly, truly, truly blown away by the love and support of all those present. Also those not present (co-workers, friends of friends, friends of our parents) have given us nothing but unreserved support. I hope everyone gets to experience that feeling at least once in their lives.
Also, thank you for the photo spread on how an American soldier is made. Fascinating!

Will not visit Jim Carrey's website.
Gay folks supporting him in any way have short memories.
His movie "Ace Ventura, Pet Detective" was unforgivably homophobic.
The TV show in which he got his start, "In Living Color," was unforgivably homophobic.
I doubt he's bothered to denounce or apologize for this garbage.
Screw 'im.
