‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Hearing Scheduled for This Week…Not Scheduled

Apparently the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" hearing scheduled for this week has been put off:

"Joe just called the Senate Armed Services
Committee to find out when the Don't Ask Don't Tell hearing is going to
be, the one that we were promised would happen this week. They told him
the hearing hasn't been scheduled."

    This one’s too easy…

Faced with any number of blocks of voters than are unhappy with the Administration/Dems, anything ‘gay’ goes to the bottom, of the bottom of the to-do list.

Same ol’, same ol’ Dems. Yeah, you got our backs…. riiiiiiight.

Have the Dems just lost the Mass,Dem vote, the gay vote, the liberal/progressive vote; and what about the women’s vote ? This record is just about as intelligent as Karl Rove’s “permanent republican majority”……just throwing it all away !Is anyone in the Democrats listening ?

I finally have graduated to being a “fierce advocate” of NOT supporting the Democratic Party until they get progressive on legislatively supporting and passing LGBT rights. Realistically, I’m not holding my breath on these issues. After the sky-high excitement and promise of the historic November 2008 presidential election, it’s sad to see what has not transpired with the Obama administration and the Democrats majority in Congress — and I don’t mean just LGBT issues. I mean, how wrongly can you misread the mood of your base?
