  5. Madonna's mask is not that different from the poly-propylene face masks we avid skiers use on really cold days on the slopes. Nothing bizarre about it.

  6. What exactly is the definition of "gay-baiting"?

Red-baiting is accusing someone of being a communist, I think.

Is "gay-baiting" accusing someone of being gay, or accusing someone of sympathizing with gay people or either or both or?

  8. On the issue of the increase of HIV/Aids cases in MN, I feel that it is a double-edged sword. HIV/Aids is no longer seen as a death sentence, it is looked at as a manageble disease. While twenty++ years ago it had a lot of stigma attached to it, it is nice to know that most of those stigmas are falling by the way-side. However, it is because of this fact, that most people are not thinking of protecting themselves, because it is looked at as a manageble disease and not as deadly anymore.
It is hard to try to inform people of the deadly nature of HIV while also trying to let people who are infected know that it is a no longer that death sentence. Double edged in deed.
