Ugandan Pastor Martin Ssempa Holds Gay Porn Screening to Scare Up Support for 'Kill the Gays' Bill

This sounds like a stunt Peter 'Porno Pete' LaBarbera would pull.

Martin_ssempa Uganda pastor Martin Ssempa (the one who's planning a "million man march" in support of the "kill the gays" bill) is apparently concerned the government is softening and plans to water it down, so he's pulling out all the stops:

"Pastor Martin Ssempa on Tuesday plumbed the depths of notoriety when he offered graphic images of gay sex as proof of the need for tough penalties against homosexuals. But midway through his presentation, saved on a computer, most of his audience walked out, some visibly disturbed, leaving him to wonder if he had done anything wrong. The cleric seemed genuinely rattled when he asked: “Why should I be traumatised?” One man, who was part of a group of American students invited to the press conference by Rubaga North MP Beti Kamya, was seen crying, his colleagues consoling him as the group left the National Theatre. In the immediate aftermath of the presentation, which ended prematurely, Pastor Ssempa said he did not regret his actions. The press conference, the latest in a series of events he is holding in support of the 2009 Anti-Homosexuality Bill, had been called to unveil two Ugandans, a man and a woman, who say their homosexuality has been rehabilitated."

  1. Ssempa is not just a simple-minded fool. He is evil.

And as for the idiots crying because they witnessed gay porn. Yeah, I cry when I see gay porn too--especially French gay porn with Moroccans in it. I cry and cry and cry, "Oh, why can't I have me one, Lord?"

  2. I wonder how much fun the pastor had putting this montage of explicit gay sex together? A lot, I'll bet.

  3. To be fair, the screening should have been immediately followed by some straight raunch. Then they can make heterosexuality illegal too.

  5. Death Cultists Ssempa puts on a gay porn flick. I'm I detecting some sort of self repression?

  7. So in an effort to convince the public that any display of same-sex orientation should be penalized harshly, he committed what would be a serious crime under the new law?

Pardon me while my mind boggles.

  8. At first his audience was upset, outraged, angry. Then they suddenly became interested in the footage. Then more interested. Then even more interested. Then very, very interested. Then really, really, really interested. Then--suddenly-- they lost all interest.

Then they became confused, guilty, one of 'em began to cry. Then they looked at the footage and started to become interested again... then even more interested...

  12. Wait, so it was an American student crying? huh?

  15. Agree with Sparks.

Most of the laughable acts that happen in both gay & straight commercial porn don't actually happen in ANYONE'S bedroom, no matter what their sexuality.

He's trying to paint gay life as one long, colorful sex adventure. Even if some of us wanted that, it's still very far from the truth. So typical of the right, they like to think of us in the most prurient of terms because that's what gives them guilty (and giddy) feelings.

  16. I wonder if they know half of gay porn actors are straight??

  18. Did someone say porn? Where can I get a copy of this presentation? :-)

And seriously have they ever seen straight porn? Those girls go through a lot more than the gays do.

If I have to see one more straight "50 guy creampie" where they're tearing up the woman and making her gag.... i just don't know what i'll do. :-).

  19. So all we have to do to make them into trembling masses of crybabies is show them some gay porn?

What magical movie did this? I must know.

  20. In all seriousness, I still remember how hard I cried the first time I was exposed to blatant heterosexuality. And it didn’t even have that much nudity (simulated scene in an old movie).

And as far as gay porn goes, the range is pretty wide – imagine little evangelicals exposed to fisting. I’m not surprised he’s in tears. But more likely he just jizzed his pants. And speeking of str8 porn, am I the only one getting adds for online dating with pictures of females on this site? (For Zoosk). Not really a smart move there, hey?

  21. hi guyz,
am shocked by all your comments.
just weakedness and bondage driving your senses.
i know you feel guilty about the whole stuff and your hearts crying for help those its not easy. and pliz admit that you need help. if not stop being jeolousy by enticing those who still want to be themselves and have the best of their lives.
but you can make again in life and have positive contributions to the generation. if tired of your lives pliz let others live their lives.

  22. whether the bill passes or not i dont care. it still goes back to us. how concerned r we about or lives and the generation.
at times i see its because of the selfish minds and so i would advise that you think your future not today.
its even more embarrasing to find that all you intelligent people still take advantage of those whom you are supposed to guide.
i hear human rights, i dont know whether now human righs are meant to deny poeple from having freedom in life.
woman to woman no,no. man to man no,no.
pliz do not only do what "you" think is "right" but what is thought to be wise.

  23. hey! big ups to Ssempa.
i know some people do no like what you r doing.
but this is because they are not concerned abou life and their nation.
they should also be reminded that they can revise their lives and decide to make a difference and come back to normal life of FREEDOM.

  24. in life we always struggle to know the truth. and here it is. Homosexuality is bad and nothing can change that. homosexuals like i have said before, you need help council. we cannot allow our nation to accept those filthy acts. whether muslim or christian, the moral decadency we cannot tolarate.never.
our generation needs change to the better not crippling their minds with homo acts.

  25. Reen, I take it you’re Ugandan. Just understand, gay people don’t want to change straight people. We know that they like the opposite sex and can’t change, just like we like the same sex and can’t change. All we want for gay Ugandans is to be able to live without fear of death or persecution. We were not the ones showing gay porn to the Christians, our persecutors did that. Letting gay Ugandans live won’t affect the lives of straight Ugandans. Most of the important people in my life are straight, and if I lived in Uganda, this legislation would put them in jail as well, just for caring about me and knowing who I am. If there’s any way you could help, just remember that it is never morally acceptable to kill people for who they are. If you knew gay people, you would see we’re just like everyone else. Some of the people you care for are likely gay and afraid to be honest about it. You say we need help and council, but they will get killed if they go for therapy, so in the end, this is an attempt to genocide and nothing else. I am sure your conscious can’t allow that?
