Watch: '8: The Mormon Proposition' Opens This Weekend

Also opening this weekend, in addition to Stonewall Uprising, which I mentioned yesterday, is 8: The Mormon Proposition, which exposes the financial involvement of the Church of Latter Day Saints in the campaign to pass Proposition 8 in California.

Another must see.

Watch the trailer and a couple clips, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. I saw this film last weekend at the deadCENTER Film Festival in Oklahoma City. It was a very good documentary & I highly recommend it.

  2. PG&E's proposition was so blatently deceiptful that it was a no win situation from the get go.

Prop 8 was losing until the mormon money came flowing in. They basically were able to scare enough people with implying that gays were coming for your children.

  3. Since when has PG&E been tax exempt?

  4. I caught the film at its Sundance premiere. It's especially illuminating for its look at the jaw-dropping Mormon religious doctrines that justify fighting any and all recognition of LGBT rights.
