Pope Benedict Sets Stage for UK Visit with Attack on Gay Marriage

Pedophile-enabler Pope Benedict has attacked same-sex marriage again, Bloomberg reports:

Pope "Benedict, speaking before paying a historic visit to the U.K. later this week, said the Roman Catholic Church 'cannot approve of legal initiatives that imply a re-evaluation of the life of the couple and the family.' The pope, in a reference to legalized marriage among homosexuals, said such laws 'contribute to the weakening of the principles of natural law' and to 'confusion about society’s values.' He made his remarks today while receiving Germany’s new envoy to the Holy See at his summer residence in Castel Gandolfo south of Rome, according to a transcript posted on the Vatican’s website."

On his UK visit, the Pope will reportedly comment on the UK's equality law:

"Media reports indicate the head of the Catholic Church will not stray into overt criticism of the government which is hosting him, but he will suggest that Christians ought to be allowed the religious freedom to, for example, wear crucifixes at work. The comments are likely to stoke controversy over Britain's equality laws. Earlier this year, Chris Grayling faced outrage when he defended two Christian B&B owners who refused a room to a couple on the basis that they were gay."

A massive protest of the Pope is planned for this Saturday in London, supported by several gay and lesbian groups. Details HERE.

So they baned the waring of crosses in any workplace at any time that seems overly impeding on the right to freedom of religion."

It wasn't religiously motivated. The regulation covered all jewelry, and the Christian woman didn't want the regulation to apply to her due to her religion.

  4. Okay, let's make a deal. I won't complain about people wearing crucifixes if he won't complain about two consenting adults entering into a contract of marriage. Deal? Yeah, I didn't think so.

  5. What else would you expect from a senile old ex Nazi soldier that defected and became a catholic Priest to avoid any war crimes charges against him. We can only guess what he did to be that afraid of being recognized for what he was.

  6. So the Pope is commenting on principles of "natural law" and confusion of "society's values." I think all of that was pretty well handled by the Catholic church and its weird emotional and sexual dungeons.

  10. "A difference of opinion over gay marriage sparked the incident, and emotions escalated quickly. Punches were thrown.

A small group of men visiting Rhode Island this week urging people to support traditional marriage called the police.

Offended by the men’s message, four young women now face charges of assault or battery and disorderly conduct. The youngest, 17, also faces a more serious charge — felony assault with a dangerous substance.

On a hot, sticky Tuesday afternoon, on a grassy area just in front of the Rhode Island Mall, stood six men from a group headquartered in Spring Grove, Pa. They were dressed in suits, red sashes flung over their shoulders.

The Foundation for a Christian Civilization Inc. –– also known as The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property –– traveled to Rhode Island this week to share its views. The men picked the only New England state that does not allow gay marriage because they believe their view of marriage is threatened here.

Tuesday in Warwick, they held long metal poles that carried a large banner with their beliefs: “God’s Marriage = 1 man & 1 woman.” A sign read, “Honk for Traditional Marriage.”

Driving by, stuck at a red light on Route 113, two women saw the men. Once the light turned green and the driver accelerated, the passenger threw a bottle out the window.

“We’ll be back,” one yelled, according to the police report.

Ten to 15 minutes later, the women returned. Rex Teodosio, a group member, told the police the women “made a beeline to us, shouting at us with bottles in their hands.”"
