Watch: Teabagger Christine O'Donnell Compares Herself to Reagan

Gay-baiting, anti-masturbation, 'ex-gay' proponent teabagger Christine O'Donnell says Sarah Palin's endorsement made all the difference in her campaign, criticizs "Republican cannabalism" and shrugs off doubts from Karl Rove and other Republicans that she's unelectable: "They also said that Ronald Reagan wasn't electable."

  2. Not gonna watch, but who ever said Reagan wasn't electable?

  3. Reagan WAS unelectable until the Iran hostage crisis and Carter's inability to do anything about it got him thrown under the bus by the voters. But, CONGRATS honey! You're exactly what all us moderate and liberal Americans were hoping for going in to the mid-terms.

  4. go palin, go palin, go palin!!!!!!!!!

the more of these fringe candidates she supports against moderate repugs, the less chance repugs will have of taking over the senate. there is no way in hell that this bobble-head will defeat the dem in the general election.

  5. Do not underestimate the power of the Republican Fourth Reich. Complacency will only lead to their victory, and they mean to win. If it means playing the buffoon, they'll play the buffoon, and laugh all the way to victory.

The loons have taken over and the repub establishment is freaking. Since the base is what turns out for primaries expect pallin to be the R 2012 nominee. Palin 2012 which will see Obama do a reagan and sweep all 50 states his 2nd term election

  10. I'm going to masturbate right now to celebrate her victory, which is in essence a victory for the left. Just wait. Now, I have to get my hands on something...

  14. I just spent 30 min. reading the posts on a Yahoo article that talks about her victory. 90% think she is a fantastic candidate and will win. This country is really a mess right now.

  15. Reagan was unelectable? He was governor of California. And then 'they' went and nominated him for Presidential candidate over Bob Dole, George Bush & Howard Baker. This lady is a moron and a liar.

    Posted by: Shawn | Sep 15, 2010 1:44:23 PM

  16. "Unfactual"???? WTF?? Is Sarah Palin writing her lines? She lies. She's an idiot. She's the future of the 'publican party. YEAH!!!

  17. Supposedly the Carter administration prayed that they'd go up against Reagan.

    Posted by: Name: | Sep 15, 2010 1:49:26 PM

  18. carter was unelectable well before the iran hostage crisis, the oil embargo and spiking gas prices and gas shortages and rationing ( remember odd-even license plate days ?) the economy, inflation, jobs etc all sealed his fate before
I do not recall reagan ever being described as unelectable

  20. She's gonna get beaten like a drum. Curtains! It's hilarious, though...just pure entertainment with no other value.

  22. The ego has landed obviously! Was she even born when Reagan was President, this claim is just an invention...

This upstart is no Ronald Reagan. While Reagan was a conservative, he was not a homophobe and he didn't criticise the GOP from without. Also, shouldn't the Reagan family start calling people out on this?

    Posted by: Sean R | Sep 15, 2010 2:56:10 PM

  23. Oh, Reagan was a homophobe...and a horrible president. Reagan sucked.

    Posted by: TANK | Sep 15, 2010 3:04:51 PM

  24. Reagan may have been a homophobe, but Nancy wasnt...she kept that part of him in check and balanced.

As far as this bitch Christine goes...she'll flame out before too long....there is not an ounce of depth of substance behind her...she'll fizzle.

  25. @Jerry,
I think you are factually wrong about the gas rationing. I am old enough to remember this happening under Nixon after the oil crisis of 1973. There was not any rationing curing Carter. There was the famous speech by carter in summer of 1979 that said there was a moral imperative for America to conserve and find alternatives to oil... and some states proposed rationing tickets for gas but there was no rationing that I remember that summer of 79. There were higher gas prices and interest rates were pretty high.
