As you might have expected, Rachel Maddow devoted the bulk of her show last night to covering the repeal of 'DADT', including interviews with Lt. Col. Victor Fehrenbach, Fmr. Cadet Katherine Miller, Fmr. Air Force Comm. Officer Mike Almy & Fmr. US Army Captain Jonathan Hopkins before a live audience.

  4. I was in the audience last night. Before the show started, as the servicemembers came out on stage unannounced, the audience rose to their feet and gave them an extended standing ovation. Rachel opened the segment by poking fun at herself for getting it wrong that DADT would be repealed. After the interview, after they cut to commercial, each of the interviewees gave her an extended and heartfelt hug while the audience stood and cheered. It was a wonderful moment.

  6. I wish Rachel would have given some props to Dan Choi (other than showing his coming out clip)

  7. Props to Choi? For what? Being a failure as an officer? Being a loose cannon who wound up calling Obama the worst president ever, and Harry Reid a pussy who bleeds every month? Props for checking into a nuthouse?
