Watch: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Plays a Freak Named Hesher

Levitt

Not quite sure what to make of the new trailer for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's upcoming indie Hesher. Doesn't look like it'll be named the "feel good" film of the year.

Watch, AFTER THE JUMP...

  1. Fun - scroll up until the picture cuts off right above sir sexy's nipple - a very nice view without the distracting wig / fake tats

  2. I saw Hesher at Sundance 2010...I remember liking it, but I don't remember any specifics.

  3. Is Natalie Portman legally mandated to be in every film released this year? ;-P

  4. I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt a lot, he's not afraid to stretch himself as an actor. He's constantly honing his craft. It's what makes good actors great.

  5. I love JDL...can't wait to see this!!
Note to Natalie...this is the kind of scrip you should stick with...not the NSA or Thor crap...yeah I know girl's gotta eat...but just stay away from anything having to do with Marvel or Ashton.

  6. Obsessed with JGL with long hair and tattoos. Any other time he looks like a little girl to me...even though he just turned 30. Whatever he's using to keep himself looking so young, he needs to bottle and sell by the gallon to Britney.

I'm so glad this is finally being released.

  7. He looks like he's one of the queer metalheads from the Johnny Terris films

  9. Well, let's hope that "hesher" isn't a creation of the kid's imagination to cope with the boohoos. What a predictable, tired trope that would be. Tragic, actually...make it a fourth rate flick.

  10. Hesh wants sex!

  11. Hesh needs a bath. The movie looks like a collection of depressing indie cliches.

  12. He kinda looks like Jesus. Maybe it's about The Second Coming, you know -- a Christian indie film, a boy and his imaginary friend Jesus.

If Rainn Wilson's in it then it's gonna be creepy for sure.

  13. @ JGL Fan:

The Bible describes Jesus as having hair like wool, skin the color of bronze and feet the complexion of clay. If you look at the people that have historically inhabited the region of Jesus' origin, they tend not to look like Europeans -- unless they happen to be from Southern Italy.

  14. I think JGL is an amazing actor. I can't wait to see this movie. It looks really good.

  15. If you haven't seen Gordon-Levitt in "Mysterious Skin," do yourself a big favor and watch it. He is fabulous, and so is the movie.
