Watch: Lady Gaga Dresses Up as a Condom for 'GMA'
This morning, Lady Gaga went on Good Morning America to discuss the Grammys, 'DADT' activism, and HIV/AIDS prevention. Naturally, she came dressed for the conversation.
Watch the interview, AFTER THE JUMP...

Enough of that publicity wh***e.

Wow, she looks like a Star Trek alien.

she looks like an alien that would have been hanging out in the bar in Star Trek Deep Space Nine

please, find another pop star who's as committed to charity and lgbt activism.
even if it is partly publicity driven, it doesn't mean that her work isn't important. the people who benefit from this don't care about motives.

She looks horrible here.

Enough of this hate against Lady Gaga. Is this is the way we treat our supporters? Because she doesn't need to rally for gay rights or talk about HIV prevention. I think she's awesome.

she is saying things on television that most pop stars wouldn't risk saying. so give the woman credit. (not to mention all the hard work she does writing and performing). i dont get why people hate a positive message.

Oh, please. All you bitter queens, change your underwear because it seems a bit too tight this morning.
She's a great ally for the gay community. She's reaching millions of people not only with her art but also with her message. Instead of bashing her, start being thankful that we have her on our side!

I love her and I can't wait for the NYC concert.

The hatred is actually starting to disgust me. Name-calling "whore", "alien". Really? Is that bad for you guys???

She's on the right track 'cause baby she was born this way!

It's like a clusterf*** of who can be MORE anti-gaga between you bitter queens. Get a hobby, please!

Love Gaga. Hate bitter queens.

I love this weird makeup prosthetic thing she's doing. I realize it's very Alexander McQueen, but it draws attention to physical enhancement and perverse rituals of beauty. At this point, I expect an Amanda Lapore homage in 3, 2, 1....

I love her embracing her inner freak. Great stuff, thank god someone is doing something with some color, some energy. Not my favorite kind of music but she's potty, she's dynamic and the kids love her. Good on you Gaga. Madonna was a hot mess when she was younger so leave her alone and go pick on a republican senator.

Mac Viva Aids Fund sounds like more charity money that goes to corrupt governments like Uganda's. Let's face it, AIDS money does support homophobic governments and groups. And unless it specifically states a pro-gay agenda, it isn't.
Remember: Pro-gay or no pay.

Only Love here!

Here's a list of Lady Gaga's charities:
Virgin Mobile Re*Generation - For homeless youth, not specifically pro-gay.
Gaga for Haiti Earthquake - nothing pro-gay here.
Mac Aids Fund - For women and children with AIDS in developing countries. Not pro-gay.
Lady Gaga has never been pro-gay.

She seems like a level headed lady to me. Not some silly queen that is all about ME ME ME. And like others have said she talks about things most other stars can't be bothered with. Gay Americans can use all the help they can get. If Ms GaGa helps take it and say thank you.

@natira How convenient to forget her speaking at the rally to repeal Don't Ask, Don't Tell.
Not to count all the times she declared her support for equality and gay rights.
You act like my parents who pretend to read the bible but only pick passages that are helpful to them to make their anti-gay case while omitting all the rest.
Nice going.....

Adding to what Mike said, very few people got a personal tweet from the Senate Majority Leader when the DADT Repeal was passed: http://twitter.com/SenatorReid/status/16229409887363073

Did she raise money to repeal DADT?
No
Did she get publicity for her effort?
Yes
She exploit gays for money but doesn't raise money for them.

Natira, are all Little Monsters gay? Hello!

GAGA looks amazing... and having met her I truly believe she's a sincere person.
So stop being a drag you bitter Queens... and stop hating and bullying people because they have the courage to go against the norm.
Love you GAGA!

Lady Gaga is so thoughtful and well-spoken, as well as being so talented and hardworking as an artist.
Interesting that her bony prosthetic facial add-ons are a bit evocative of the facial wasting sometimes observable in people with HIV. I'm guessing it's coincidental that she looks this way for a chat about HIV, but perhaps at some level she is trying to destigmatize the condition and show her solidarity by appearing this way.
