Teen Actor Avan Jogia Says Its OK For Men To Like Men

19-year-old straight actor Avan Jogia has co-founded a a new social awareness campaign dedicated to acceptance of homosexuality. Jogia describes the organization, Straight But Not Narrow, in his own way:

"We are a group of men talking to men about men who like men and how men should be ok with your man friends liking men. it doesn't make you any less of a man or make it look like you're into men if you're friends with a man who likes men."

  2. Charles: It means:

  4. Avan Jogia knows this from having spent time on a planet where sexual orientation is a non-issue.

(And he might have been there longer, had Caprica not been cancelled. I'm still missing that show.)

  5. good kid, good message. Donald Trump seems lacking in manliness. He doesn't even have the virtues of womanliness... Hmm...maybe he'll figrue it out and be a man??

  6. Who is Avan Jogia? Is he a newcomer? Never heard of him.

I'm cynical about it,as usual. However,I think it's an intresting project.I just we gays don't go gaga over it just like we do when straight men speak up for us though.

  8. Avan is totally against bullying of any kind, No he is not Gay, or Bi but accepts all genders no matter what they do in their bedrooms or who they sate as friends. that's the point he is making. it is no ones business what ANYONE does in their bed rooms or dates it's their business. but don't treat them as if I can't be a friend of yours if u do this or that. it don't matter. in my own way of thinking I accept friends by who they are, not who they are dating. we are all human and we fall in love with who our heart falls in love with and it should not matter if it's the same gender or not. all that should matter is if the person is a friend accept who ever they love, as that's what a friend does.
