I'm a sucker for a beluga whale, & I love me a mariachi band, & I woke up grumpy this morning, & I'm not grumpy anymore.

Ah, the Mariachi band . . . an American tradition. Love those sombreros and skintight breeches! Did you know there is a Mariachi with openly Gay members? It's called Mariachi Orgullo de Nuevo México. The Spanish word "orgullo" means "pride".

Now if we could just get the Japanese to go out and sing karaoke to humpback whales instead of slaughtering them for "scientific research."

I'm getting a feeling the whale was more interested in the sombrero than the actual music.

That was a cute bit of inter-species music appreciation ( but can the whale actually hear the music or was it just responding to the funny two legged dry land mammals?)
