  1. I'm glad to see that openly-closeted Matt Bomer seems to be inching out of his closet.

  2. Matt & Cheyenne would make a gorgeous couple! ...but Cheyenne is taken.

  4. Exactly how can a person who everyone knows is gay, takes his husband with him to public events, and is proud of his family be "in the closet"?

It's not 1972. You're on the Internet. Catch up, already.

    Also: great casting.

  5. I've met Paul and Jeff, and they are both rad. This must be so bizarre for them! Who's playing who?

  6. Matt Bomer's "marriage" is the worst-kept secret in Hollywood. They've been together for years. They go to events together. They take their kids with them all-sorts of places together. Bomer's often photographed with the kids, and refers to them as "my kids", not "his kids" I don't see a closet. Just someone with young children who places boundaries around what's "public fodder" for the press, and what's "family" and private.

  7. I feel like he would feel obligated to be the poster child of homosexuality in modern Hollywood television were he to be "out" out. He shouldn't have to wear a rainbow flag around Hollywood just because he's gay. He is in full support, so what's the big deal? ...Although I would love to see his pretty face offer some kind of direct public support based on his own life...ah, well.

  8. This sounds like a great play. Good cast also. I am a fan of Bomer's. He is a really good actor. He is "out" just in a different way. I think he respects his private life. His fans who are mostly girls know he is gay already. What really matters is he is a really talented actor.

  9. Would go see this because of the Bomer but alas I live in a different continent. And your right Alice. Its just a lot of (older?) gay dudes live in their own little bubble and have never heard of twitter or tumblr.

Speaking of which there are a few posts now on tumblr with crying gifs that Bomer is gay. Too funny. This happens every other two weeks. And every other week on twitter. Especially funny seeing the foreign girls-read any country-find out he is gay!

  10. Yes,people in the industry know that Matt is gay but it's like Anderson Cooper...people know but you just don't talk about it. LOL. Plus a majority of the viewing audience for Matt's show, White Collar, don't know he's gay.

  11. GOM, They do. Go check white collar hashtags on twitter, on tumblr and go check out the comments on white collar imdb and facebook. They know. Not one day passes without some-guy always-one mentioning it because the girls/women keep on going on about how they "love Matt Bomer or I want Neal".

They do it with a great amount of pleasure but get displeasure when they don't create the chaos they wish and the ladies keep on going on about how much they love him.

Makes me laugh all the time.

Why is it that straight guys always think a woman will suddenly find a ridiculously attractive male to her all of a sudden repulsive because he isn't straight? Furthermore, someone who she would never in a million years ever get?

I mean how many famous actors have ever married their fan? Worse still these girls are like teenagers, early twenties....if he was straight they'd be jailbait anyhow.

  12. When 'White Collar' was first televised, I was miffed that Matt Bomer didn't come out to the media. However, neither did his co-stars 'come out' as hetero. He has not lied and said he was straight...he just goes about doing his job as a TV star and proud father and spouse. Hope he marries, when Prop8 is finally dumped.

  13. Matt and Cheyenne will make a beautiful couple on stage! Any word on filming of this production? I don't mean cell phone-to-You Tube!

  16. So when is closet-case Matt Bomer ever going to come out of the closet and admit he’s married to a man and is raising children with him??? It’s 2012, about time to stop being a spoiled celebrity coward, don’t you think? Think of all the gay kids out there committing suicide, Matt, instead of just thinking of your next vacation or sports car. Man up already and quit going to award shows like the Golden Globes where you flirt with all the actresses and pretend to be single and str8 when you're on camera. Grow up Matt.
