VIDEO: Flash Mob Targets Michele Bachmann with 'Like a Prayer'

Picture 15

Activists from the Courage Campaign objected to Michele Bachmann's presence at a California GOP convention yesterday by breaking out in a coordinated dance to "Like a Prayer." If only Marcus were up front, leading the pack, twirling his boa... Boa scarf.

  3. This makes me happy. I'd even contribute to invest in a louder sound system.

  8. Now I know what the new contagion is: Dumbassery that affects Gay activists exclusively. Boy howdy, desperately amateur choreography will keep homophobes out of your town like nothing you've ever seen before!

  10. FURTHER PROOF THE SO-CALLED "COURAGE CAMPAIGN" IS A JOKE and most of our Movement is currently dominated by adult children and spineless, mercenary LGBT, Inc. figureheads! Bachmann, Perry, & other Tea Taliban thugs are throwing gasoline on the ever-burning fire of homohatred and they imagine things like THIS and "glitter bombing" are solutions? That's like believing rainbow-colored umbrellas would have saved the residents of Hiroshima.

  11. I think this is a pretty weak attempt at nothing.... first of all, it is not a flash mob, not in the original way it all began..... these r people who knew each other and did a pretty bad job at practicing it... I bet it was even heavily advertised, and not a surprise at all...

second, I am not sure what this does, politically... unfortunately I think it actually reflects badly on the movement itself, as being amateur, passionless, and passive.....

  12. What if a flash mob happened and the only people who were aware of it were the ones actually in the mob? I think that's the case here.

  13. and you guys bitching about this flash mob, what are you doing about the homophobes and haters??

  14. I'd like to see any one of you organize something beyond sitting naked behind a computer screen writing negative comments while you rub your kibbles and bits to bareback porn.

  15. These little anti-GOP "flash mobs" look more and more like publicity stunts for dumb needy street performance artists. What happens next? They wait for Bachmann to appear then throw handfuls of glitter and confetti at her?

Yes, I know, I guess we're supposed to "shut up" because these guys are out there "doing something". The reasoning seems to be: it doesn't matter WHAT you're doing as long as you're doing something.

  16. Weak.

  17. I just am not seeing the power in this or the glitter bombing. It reminds me of the radical Christians at the MA State House who would show up with their shofar horns and blow them. Seriously...we are "acting gay" to educate the public? Don't we have stats of deaths and murders and suicides that we should be putting in their faces so the public understands that these people's hate equals our death?

  18. Totally embarrassingly weak. I hope these guys are registered to vote though. (Probably not, voting is too private.)

  23. Retarded. And I mean no offense to the mentally challenged, but if that is the most effective method of battling bigotry, homophobia and anti-gay legislation then why don't we build our own internment camps now and save ourselves the indignity of being hunted down AND exterminated by the Christian Right?
